we have a piper for pre/post ceremony and to pipe me up the isle. Then we have a band for night time and that is it. Have never been to another wedding where there was anymore entertainment than that. Guess it depends what you can afford.

i would love a cartoonist to draw pictures of guests, but cant afford one. did think about hiring a photo booth and fancy dress for the guests to take funny photos of themselves for the guest book, but going off that idea rapid!

We're just having the DJ but me and my bms are keen modern line dancers so we might do a turn and add to entertainment!

We only had the dj, (well 2 and a half djs) I like the idea of cartoonist, i do think its prob best not to go too ott, as guests will like to be able to take things in without having something else in their faces .. Really liked the photobooth idea, too x

We ave a choir during the ceremony, christmas carollers for guests arrival at the reception, havent yet decided on music during meal but h2b wants a christmas string quartet. A close up magician for the break between the wedding breakfast and the evening reception, some have a magician during the meal but I dont think my guests would like their food interrupted. Then a dj in the evening and a video booth. xxx

We've got DJ, casino table for the evening & giant indoor games for the day but that's cos it'll be the middle of winter and it's unlikely people'll be able to go outside. Oh and a visit from Santa at the wedding breakfast :) x

DJ and a rock band for us.

Wouldnt want anymore as i think it can take away the focus from the bride and groom and feel like a church fete!

were having a string quartet for the ceremony and drinks reception to keep everyone amused.... during the meal between the main and desert were having the the 3 waitors (thats a present) then maybe some thing like a casino table etc for the day/night break then a DJ/ jazzband at night ...i wanted fire works at the end but venue doesnt allow it so H2B now wants fire eaters but i dunno if this is too much .... were getting married at 12.30 so theres 12 hours to filland a break between the day and the evening... the venue has lots of room and chill out lounges for the tired grannies etc... we both want one big huge party/celebration

we're hoping to have a dj which will do half wedding type music and half metal/punk music. Also looking into something for the kids entertainment as there'll be 15 of them. Don't think there will be anything else really

I'm hoping for a string quartet to play before our ceremony and when we're getting our pictures taken but we get a piper included in our package so not sure whether to go for the quartet or not. We're then having a DJ at night and that's it. xxx
