G is having a modern kilt suit made for him and will be wearing a normal tie. I was starting to think of having one made for him out of the fabric of my dress. We're also having a hand-fasting ribbon made out of his tartan on one side and my dress fabric on the other. My underwear corset will, hopefully, the silk version of the tartan that his kilt is made out of.

I'd probably then have ties made for the groomsmen and ushers out of the bridesmaids' dresses' fabric.

I like tying our outfits in together, but do you think it'll look too matchy matchy?

Not at all, it sounds lovely. I have matched my shoes and the groomsmens waistcoats & ties to the bridesmaids dresses.
