I was thinking of putting a basket in the girls toilet with things like tissues, tampons, lipgloss, hairspray, nailfile etc in.

But... what would you put in the mens?! The only thing I can think of is condoms and I'm not sure that'd be that appropriate with some of our guests, lol x

I asked h2b and he said a small deodorant, a small aftershave, some lip balm (yes really!), some handcream (again, really!) and some wet wipes... I didn't ask the reason for the last one! :0) x

No worries! I've already had to explain to my little niece that tampons are "a special kind of tissues that only Mommy's need" when she found some so at least I know there'll be no awkward questions there, (unless she starts distributing them to Mommy's - hmmm, note to self, make sure basket is out of children's reach and eye line) ;-) x

My ex boss is getting me these from our surppliers at a discount :-)
We have quite a few guests staying at the hotel so these will be in there rooms with a little thank you note saying how

Yey, thanks for all the ideas, I love them all! I woke up in the middle of the night thinking "plasters and mints" (like you do). Going to start looking for bits and pieces now I think, get whatever is on offer or whatever I can bulk buy off the bay! We thought about putting something in people's rooms as well. H2B wanted to put a bottle of wine, but we have 48 rooms so will see how the costs are looking closer to the time I think!
