I know, hence why I wont be doing that. My dress isn't huge but it has a hoop, I'm hoping its not that difficult to go for me! I wont be getting anyone but h2b to help me lol

i struggled to get shoes on with the dress on.... wonder how i will be with knickers

I sooo have to remember to put my shoes on first. Oh and for those with suspender belts - put that on first before your knickers, or you have to undo everything to pull your knickers down - made that mistake before now!! They never model them in the pictures that way, they are always shown on top.

I am a bit worried I'll end up standing over the loo, as my dress is figure hugging over my hips, I don't know if I'll be able to pull it up enough to sit - LOL

I am a bit scared - I never thought going to the toliet could be a problem.. Must make sure i get a dress suitable for peeing

I had to help the one of my BMs when she gpt married so she can repay the favour by holding my dress up too!

PMSL thank god I wasn't trying on my frock at the same time.. As a bride before its definately best going in face first so to speak and straggling a toilet, best for all concerned. Despite ur train or how its hitched up. Plus you all have a laugh but choose a disabled loo if you can = more room to throw that dress around. For you fish tail girls you are in trouble - one of my mate had to "undo" herself each time she went to the loo coz she couldnt get her dress up past her knees. on her last visit her "HELPERS" didn't do so well and her skirt came undone on the dance floor so be careful out there xx

Its amazing when looking at huge meringue dresses ....the neccessity of going to the toilet doesnt even cross your mind. x

me neither your first, dont know if ive got a disabled toilet at my venue, il have to check x

We always offer this advice to the brides we photograph.
It really is a top tip and it works.

I have a toilet story for you all,
my bm got married last year too at the reception she asked could i help her have a wee and we called in one of the bm's to help her too, so there we are holding her dress up for her whilst she tinkles, then i grab some bog roll hand it to her bm and say your turn to wipe i did it last time...........you should have seen her face soooooooooooo funny!

my dress was easy to pee in although i did keep forgetting about the train and getting it stuck in the door walking out ahah

lmao omg i havnt laugh this much since h2b fell into a skip (long story) i have no idea how il use the loo..........hehe incontinance pads me thinks lol!!!!!!!!!! x x x

I am really worried about this given how big the dress is. Will take the advice of putting suspender belt on first. Thanks for that. Really not sure how my dress is going to be held up without make up etc getting on it or hair getting wrecked

Reading all these posts really has made me think, I didnt have any trouble at all the first time I married but then it wasn't a bulky dress whereas this time I have more to think about SO on the strength of what peeps are saying (sit on loo backwards or BM's in the lav with me) I have made a calculated decision. Take castor oil the day before so I can have a good old clear out (yes ewwwww) and on the day speak really nicely to a district nurse..........
and have a cathetar fitted.....sorted!!

its against the law not to have disabled loo :(
