Only a short question, I am allowed a special pair of shoes for the big day, I have fallen in love with some Blue Christian Louboutin Shoes, will these be too over the top? Opted for blue as my 'something blue' as with White shoes i probably will never wear again. Any views ladies? X

Get whatever shoes make you feel special, as you're wearing them all day- there's a thread on here with lots of ladies saying they've gone for coloured shoes so go for it I say!

I've gone for shoes covered in swarovski crystals, as I wanted to be sure I can wear my shoes after the wedding so didn't want plain ivory ones (pics in my album)! Someone else said they'd got blue Louboutins too so maybe you've chosen the same!

My shoes are going to be either red or blue and sparkly :-) Go for shoes that are comfy and YOU and if you can wear them again EVEN better!

Sherah, there is no such thing as shoes being over the top :-) If they are the shoes you want then go for it! Like Hails and her sparkly red shoes, I'll be wearing sparkly pink shoes in the evening, I may even wear a pink shoe and a blue shoes lol!!

I recently went to a wedding and the bride wore bright pink shoes under her dress, she was so excited wearing them she kept lifting her dress to show them off every time a camera was in her direction lol My day time shoes are just ivory but I struggle to walk in them, the heel is very dainty and I have such a long aisle I have been panicking about wobbling and tripping so I may buy some new shoes and go a little crazy with them! xx

Go for it!! I didn't want ivory/white shoes as I also knoew that I would never wear them again, so I got my shoes dyed purple to match the bridesmaids dresses xx

Do it! I am all for coloured sparkly shoes on the big day! I have very high purple peep toes, I think I may add a few diamantes across the back of the heel just to make them a bit sparkly :)

I am going to wear blue shoes (see album) but also a shorter dress to show them off. I don't own them yet and they are a bit difficult to get hold off so I have a back up pair which is really quite over the top but also very me. They are in the same album and those I already own <3!

i think you want the same ones as i want!!! Although when i showed my mum she said no can we not juts have something a bit more traditional? so i dont know what to do about mine not that you can really see them under my dress and as htb pointed out its my wedding but as mum is paying she feels she has the last say on everything.
But go for it - if they are the same as i want doubly go for it as their gorgeous

I would love Very sparkly shoe preferably green and not too high a heel as I'm tall (and can't really walk in very high heels anyway!) also have a tight budget. Would love some ideas as I'm not much of a shopper and don't know where to start. Thank ladies.
