yeah i've been using highlighters to highlight important information....
and i've found that typing up my notes onto a computer for the exam in question has helped me re-remember what i've written in class...
find a revision guide and answer the questions for each section at the end of a chapter.... x

I normally rewrite things in different colours then stick the papers up so I can see them all the time. Everyone learns differently though. I have an exam coming up, I just want to forget about it though and carry on doing wedding stuff :(

I tend to rewrite things over and over til it sinks in - I'm usually there by the third copy! May give the dictaphone thing a go as well! x

just keep reading it through and rewrite it in your own words it's not just remembering the information though; if you understand the key points thoroughly it is easier to remember the details :) xx

One of my teachers once suggested differents smalls and colours
use colour like many people have said and spray the papers with a scent then wear that scent on the day of the exam i have never tried it though

My friend used to wear a certain perfume when she was studying then wore that same perfume on the day of her exam - I think it's a pshycology thing.
I used to record my notes and then listen to them just before bed. I don't know why it worked but I always remembered my notes after doing it. *Just noticed the post before me mentions this*

Getting your h2b to ask you questions from your notes and books etc also helps. You will then create memories around the questions and answers as no doubt you will remember the look on his face at the time or something he said which will pull back the knowledge that went with that.

I used to read and reread my notes, highlight the keywords then put the keywords into a mindmap/spidergram. Hang these like posters on my wall and glare at them balefully every day!

they say the best way to learn is to listen to it while you sleep, i cant say that works or doent work but when i have been studying for a test i seem to do well with bullet points, sum up the important bits to remeber and make them more manageable

Yeah Dove's right, past papers seems to work in a certain order. Our lecturers insisted we check out past papers as one year it would be one questions then the next would concentrate on another question. I think it must be a science thing. lol.

Forensics is great but it's become so popular with CSI etc. There are no jobs out there in it either. When I graduated I applied for something like 70 forensics related jobs and didn't even get one interview, it was soul destroying.

UWS is a great uni, we have a campus just near us in Hamilton too.

You're right there, there are thousands of students in the pharmacy courses alone. I loved being in small classes too, you feel like you're being taught properly. You must be one brainy lady, physics is tough. I do a teeny bit of physics but i'm no good at it. lol.

I live in Motherwell but i'm originally from Fife. Moved here in October as my other half is at Motherwell College. I used to commute to Glasgow but Neil can't handle the commute hence the move. lol. I'm not complaining though as my commute is reduced from 2 hours to 15-20 minutes. lol.

We're getting married at Balbirnie House in Fife. Where are you getting married?
