I had my hair cut just before we got engaged, it used to be really long and I've had it cut really short.

Now I'm torn, I love my short hair and people keep complimenting it (I had it cut just before Christmas and even this Thursday someone told me it really suits me and they love it... despite me thinking it's at that awkward too long but not long enough stage)

I really want to wear a tiara and a veil... but don't know if it will suit my current hair style.

What do you think, should I grow or keep it as it is?

I'm the one in the middle ;)

i think this is something only you can decide .... but remember if you grow it now you can always have it cut short again if thats they way you want to have you r hair on the day

Keep it short :) veils and tiaras actually look beautiful on short hair even if the style is just a bouncy blowdry
But you could try extensions and see what you think?
Or you could even grow it a bit see if you like your hair a bit longer and if not have it chopped again,
I've been growing my hair I had it cut about an inch shorter than yours in October 2012 and it's about 3 inches below my shoulder now xx

I'm sort of hoping it won't grow too much between now and March 22nd (or possibly the 8th) when I go to try some dresses on, as I can try a tiara on then with a veil as well to see if I am definitely ruling out keeping it how it is... it is one thing I am actually really indecisive on now. I only had it cut because I'd been thinking for years that I would have it cut after we got married and eventually gave up on getting the proposal!

Even my mum likes it short and that's saying something as she was dead against me having it cut and has always hated it when I've had it cut into anything just above the shoulder in the past.

It's because my hair is really short with the massive fringe I'm unsure (like Frankie from the Saturdays)

If I do keep it short do you think I should still get a hairdresser to do it in the morning, as there isn't much you can do with it lol

That's totally up to you if you get a stylist or not
Depends if you feel confident doing it yourself
A hairdresser will be able to get more rootlift and volume though
    Xx

I've never really had long hair but decided to grow it for the wedding. It's way past my shoulders now and I'm loving I have loads of choice for how to have it for the wedding. But it's a very personal choice xx

i prefer my hair short but ive been growing it for ages just in case i want an up do. if i decide i would prefer it short for the day, i can cut it before the day. i think its a safer bet as if i cut it now and changed my mind i wont be able to grow it back lol

It depends on you?! You can get some really good hair extensions these days-why don't you buy some (if money allows) and have a practise?! That way you'll have a rough idea as to how you feel about it?! X

Well my sisters sister in law is doing a course on extensions at the minute and will qualify in a month and she's said she'll do me some for free as she'll want the practice after qualifying-so I am going to try some extensions out before the big day :)

I had my hair cut into a bob in 2011 and I loved it at first but soon really regretted that I couldn't actually do anything with it. So I've been growing it out since and it's only just about down to the back of my bra now. I've had a few sets of micro ring extensions put in and loved them, I bumped into a friend who thought they were my real hair. Although they are hard work and I don't want to be brushing my hair out, separating every ring and plaiting it on my wedding night. I say grow it out and if you prefer it shorter get it cut again before the day :)x

Its def up to you, Im currently growing my hair for our wedding have been since we got engaged about 2 years ago, as my hair tends to get to shoulder length then slow right down, and have got it really long now, down my back with another year and a bit to grow it a bit more

I would see how you feel when you go and try dresses on. Try a tiara and a veil and see what it looks like. My hair is so fine that there's no point in putting it up, because it will just fall out without a mountain of hairspray. I'm growing it to shoulder length, having some highlights put in and will get my Sister to put the straighteners through it on the day.

To me, this is why you have a hair and make up trial. Try both at your trial and see which one you prefer. I'm growing my hair for this reason as I've always had shoulder length hair. Your dress will also help with your decision. x
