Entirely up to you, if you're happy with how you are now then don't pressure yourself, personally I found increasing the exercise has worked better for me than a diet, as I was more concerned about improving my body shape etc.

I'm a size 20/22 and told myself I was going to diet. Tried and failed. I'm happy as I am, if I looked awful in my dress I might have but I feel so gorgeous in my dress.

And to be honest, the weight would probably end up back on.

Theres too many things to worry and stress over when planning a wedding to start with, let alone pressuring yourself to diet.

But just seen you have 3 years to go, thats enough time to lose like 5 stone healthily if not more, so I'm sure you can lose whatever you want/need in that time without stress :)

Good luck with whatever you choose

    xx

Well I dont think I could increase my exercise anymore at the moment with how the life is, I walk every where as it is and take the dog for 3 walks a day, all in all that takes up 7hours a day on a week day then on weekends they equal about 10 hours a day (yes I do love my walks with the dog) then I do the housework on a daily basis. Along with my work. But then again I dont really eat much unhealthy food or eat that often.
3 years is our maximum date set so it could be sooner than that.
Also, I think I would feel better if I lost a little weight, too have a flat tummy and less flabby arms and a better bum, but doesnt everyone dream of that?
The husband too be always gets a bit 'iffy' when I mention anything like this and always says "Your perfect the way you are. You dont need too."
    Soo Im still undecided. "/

If you feel you need to then do. You need to feel comfortable in your own skin and by asking this question you probably aren't. Remember beauty is on the inside :) x

Its totally up to you, if you are happy with how you are then get a dress that fits you well and stay the same size. I lost a bit of weight but I left it right till the last opportunity and I feel like I couldve done more. However, If I hadve got really skinny then Id have no chest and Im quite proud of my b00bs n bottom. So I still have the things that H2B loves about me but I havent managed to get the flat tummy I really wanted - now that cropped shirt I bought will have to be worn over a vest lol.

I think its up to the individual, I feel better now Ive lost about a dress size but I am happy that I still have curves too :-)

you should do what makes you feel happy. if your happy with how the dress looks and feels then don't do anything.
I found that eating less bread and potatoes was really good for dropping lbs. i have another 2 to 2 1/2 stone to go to get to my ideal weight, but thats just me. xx

If you're asking this question then the answer is yes - but not to diet - to change your eating habits to healthier ones. I hate the word 'diet' makes me feel like I cant have things!

17.9??? Surely you don't need to be lower than that? Though I am certainly not an authority on these things....
Anyway, the main point is, if you feel you would be happier a bit more toned, then go for it. I would choose your exercise carefully though. A friend of mine got really obsessed with dieting and exercise before her wedding because she wanted to tone up her tummy, but her tummy stayed pretty much the same and her face, legs, arms and especially her skin got thin and haggard looking because she didn't do exercises specifically for toning her tum, and she didn't eat well. She ate less alright, but what she did eat was bread and stodge because she was feeling so hungry, so her tummy didn't really firm up much at all.
