Apologies if its been done before. Just thought it would be a good idea, for those new to organising a wedding (and those like me that still struggle) to have a list of hints/tips of how other b2b are going about organising/filing/keeping ideas of their wedding plans. Some things take a while to stumble across, so I think those like Dove, Tiggs (-: etc.. could share their wealth of experience to make the organising process simpler.
    I will make a start

    1) Get your own wedding website - there are some great free sites on the internet and amazingly simple to do.

    2) Join a forum- you will learn loads!
    3) Speadsheets- keep track of all you have done, money paid, when money is due etc
    4) Regular planning meetings with your H2B instead of little bits here and there. Once a week/month.
    5) Seperate savings account
    6) Don't be tempted to buy things just because they are cheap

    7) ELOPE!! haha
    8) Don't sweat the little things in the early stages of planning - if you've got 2/3 years until the big day then there's no way you can do a table plan!!
    9) Shop around - that wedding dress you've seen that costs at least one of your kidneys you can find somewhere else, or have made, for a lot less!!
    10) Ignore you MIL2B
    11) Don't pick your wedding party until you are 100% sure that these are the people you want to stand beside you - a lot of wedding friction is amongst the WP
12)Again to do with the wedding party - if you expect them to help you out with organising things then you MUST tell them when you ask them. "Will you be my BM?" doesn't automatically explain it, they're not mind readers so don't get upset when they don't come round to handmake invites with you

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D
