am pondering (or procrastinating) about timescales for beauty stuff. Not so much the make-up bit or the hair bit on the day - I've got that sussed but the other stuff that needs to be done the week before.
I'm getting married on a Saturday. My hair needs to be debadgered (gray covered up) before hand. Now do I do it the Saturday before or the one before that? Or during the week. It'll need doing before that too - probably at the end of May beginning of June and I'm getting married on the 10th August. It'll probably be cut at the June appointment as am growing it and it grows quickly - good for length bad for roots :). At the moment I'm finishing work on the Tuesday - dog is going to the kennels on Wednesday morning. Am actually hoping to take the Monday and Tuesday off too but need to work overtime to get that done.
When would I have my nails done? On the Friday before? The Thursday? Will they still be ok for the Saturday? Not 100% sure what I'm having done but am thinking of Gellish (not gel nails per se). What about eyelashes (am having extensions)? I don't want them to be all sticky out at odd angles - mind they can be combed - have had them before.
having a bit of a melt down hehe

I don't know about all of them but I can say that I'm also getting married on a Saturday and I'm getting my nails done on the Friday evening. I'll probably dye my hair the week before or so. My hen do is the Saturday before so I'll probably dye it ready for that

I've got bleach blonde hair and the roots start to show about 2 and a half weeks after its been done, so I'm going to do mine the Saturday before (we're getting married on a Saturday) andi will be getting my nails and eyebrows done on the evening before.

Oh my God! I've not even thought of all these yet... except I need to grow my nails! I have always bitten them and now when I try and grow them, they break off! Hairwise...I'd dye a week before so that it has time to "settle" and just in case you have any slight irritation or reaction, it has time to calm down too!
And we lived happily ever after!

Does a stylist color your hair? I'd ask them what they suggest, the same with the hair cut. It all depends on your hair. As for your nails I'd do a trial run. I'd time the pre-wedding manicure based on how long it generally lasts. My manicures never last long so I'd be getting it done the day before, but it all depends on your nails.
I'm getting Married on a Friday and will book my nail appointment on the Thursday, eyebrow threading and legs waxed!!! Just thought it would be easier to have everything done all at once??!!
Could you not do two appointments in a morning??
Can't help on the hair thing as have never dyed my hair.

Have booked in for nails, eyelash tint and eyebrow wax for the Thursday before the wedding (getting married on the Saturday). Will be shaving my pits and legs on the Friday. Then have hair and my friend to do make up on the day. Have been cleansing, toning and moisturising morning and evening as recommended by my friend doing make up. Apparently make up will go on better and look smoother and last longer :-)

thanks ladies.
Yes it's coloured at salon - am not good at root touching up. things are getting bad now.. I have a patch of gray on the top of my head, bar a few strands elsewhere that's it - but that's the bit I see (even if no-ine else does) (am 51 so am expecting gray). that bit is now done with permanent, the rest is a semi - all one colour (mind it doesn't look like it - so it's a good colour).
Yes can do two appointments in one morning - thats no problem, it's just when. Am going to see nail technician (daughter of friend - who's properly qualified) on Thursday evening so will have a chat then.. I may go for the lashes and the nails for the Friday morning before. who would've thought this would stress me out hehe (nearly as much as the music to walk in to - nearly)
I used to tone my skin but, in the last year or two, it makes it very tight. I always thought I had dry skin - turns out I'm 'normal'.. My skin's ok - advantage of getting older I guess, less spots. Not too many wrinkles (see attached pic)....

I get married on a Sunday and although I have a while to think about things, I am probably getting my hair done - cut & Chemically straightened about a week before and my nails probably the Friday or Saturday? I am probably getting my lashes done and will probably have them done a week night before the Wedding.

An getting my hair done the week before the wedding, an getting married on an Saturday the Thursday before am have all my waxing, nails, eyelashes tinted and permed because on the day before the wedding the Friday I need to be at the hotel running over the final details with hotel and be there to welcome the guest coming, So I say hair the week before and then all other beauty things the on the Thursday so you can have nice chilly time then on the Friday you have time to sort out any last min things and you not stressing about appointments.
