Ah don't worry about the venue, if you are saving the money for it then thats fine! They won't expect the money until closer to the time anyway!

The dress definately needs to be done soon I am so organised I know I will end up twiddling my thumbs but I just cant help it Even had a few months "off" from the wedding around March to June this year Saying that though, it is nice to be able to leave it sometimes and not panic that I have to think wedding all the time.
Will list below what has been done so far
Venue booked & deposit paid Registrar, time & date provisionally booked (will give notice sept/oct time) Venue decor (chair covers, sashes, table swags & bay tree's) booked & to be paid next tues Cake picked (today) going back in a few weeks for taster's and to pay deposit Band booked & deposit paid Phtotgrapher booked & deposit paid Hairdresser booked Invite's were sorted (until i changed my mind!) Must contact the lady & grovel/ask her to do us another bespoke design Save the dates have been sent Bought my shoes at xmas (not sure if i will wear them.....they are NOT bridal in the least!!!) Centrepieces (h2b's choice, about to start a thread re them!!!) tealights & holders & cake table decs have been bought Bespoke favours made, paid in full & boxed in the loft
So as I said, its all the little bits really Not stepped foot outside the door for anyones outfits Oh and Mini moon picked, just need to book that and pay deposit!

You've done the same as me, except I've ordered and paid the deposit on my cake and I'm waiting for my invitations to come through the post.
I'm going to Portugal for a week on 20th Jan so going to do my first wedding dress shopping when I get back so that I'm nice and chilled for it.
My biggest concern is the 3 bm all different ages, shapes, styles. I've told them I don't care what shape the dress is as long as they are all comfortable and they are all the same colour.
I can't wait until 29/06/2013

I have my sis as MOH and the other bm's are my daughter & 2 nieces who will be 9, 8 & 6 at the wedding so it is hard to know how much they will grow!!
Plus as the youngest is probably the biggest build, there is no flower girl so they will all be in the same dress Add to that 2 x page boys (my son & nephew) who will be almost 8 & 5.5 yrs.............That i am going to have to leave until late on in the planning. It is really going to stress me out!!
