Not sure if its a rant, but it is a little bit of a moan.
Phoned my tiara place up as they told me when we paid for it that it would be ready January/February time. That's fine. But just found out today they haven't even ordered it and I've told them we've paid for it and want it straight away so I can sort my hair out not the 4-6 weeks before the wedding which they claim they have it by and the fact they already told me they'd get it in for us as mentioned at the beginning.
Well if I've not heard anything by the end of February I'll be ranting and raving at them down the phone and checking every day until they order it and get it in.
I know I still have 7 months before the wedding but I like to be organised and I expect things to be ordered when I pay for them not 8 months later.
I guess it was a little bit of a rant - its' over now, honest :-D
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

I would ring them at the end of jan and ask have they ordered it and then again a week every week until end of feb then i would ring every day for a month then go some where else if it is not not done

It's so frustrating when people are really laid back. I know it's our wedding and not theres but it's important. Our caterer was asked in September to go check out the wedding venue to discuss details so we could confirm and he only just went in January and our bar people only confirmed in writing after much pestering. I feel like I'm annoying them but they should do what they promise and respond to emails!

thats annoying ur deffo not the only one that wants to get things sorted in advance it cant be the first time they have had that request!! iv just had to ask for a 3rd time for a sample of my bridesmaids dresses just need th colour swatch so i can match things up didnt sound very promising when i rang on monday agen n they said they could do it grrr
boo - Yeah they only order it for 4-6 weeks before the wedding. I pointed out they'd already said it would be ready for us as I wanted it early.
Mrs Hall2B - told h2b about it and he's said if they still hadn't ordered it by end of feb to tell him and he'll go in and rant. Its easier for him to do it as he works in manchester while i'm in wigan most of the time.
Fingers crossed we'll get the tiara by the end of march if not sooner.
