Was talking to friends at my Hen and anfew want me to throw my bouquet (I'm thinking if I do , I throw a BM's bouquet).
Then tonight I mentioned it to our wedding coordinator and h2b and h2b thinks there aren't many singletons at the wedding so thinks it'll look awful if only a couple of people go forward.
I counted the number of single female guests we have who have never been married and we will have 10.
So, my question is, what is the minimum number to have trying to catch the bouquet without looking naff?

i think you should have words with MOH or Best Man and tell them to make sure all the women (or lots of) the women are gathered behind you, but with the single ones at the front so they can rush forward and catch the bouquet but without it looking 'naff' as you've said. I personally don't think 10 will look naff but if it's something you're worried about then thats what i would do xx

Nicoleee_x is right just get some of your friends that are not single to join in but not catch the bouquet. Saying that though I don't think that 10 is a bad number for it xx

yeah and its not like its literally just gona be you and the 10 women stood there, all the other guests will be stood around watching anyway xx

I was one of three single women once. It really doesn't matter.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
10 is plenty, too many and you risk a brawl over the bouquet ;)

I agree with Nicoleee!! But, 10 should be fine?? :-)

10 sounds good to me, i'd be cringing if there were only like 2 or 3, but 10 is a good number!

Ten is more than enough, I don't think there'll be that many at mine however h2b has 12 single male friends coming, perhaps I should get them up to catch mine instead lol.....x

Traditionally, at least in the states, the bouquet is tossed to currently unmarried/unengaged women not just the single ladies. After all, the one who catches it is supposed to be the next to marry. In my experience there's always a few women pestering their long term partners about what will happen if they catch the bouquet.

Lol, I'm including those in relationships but unmarried and not engaged in the 10. Thanks ladies, if they all go for it sounds like 10 will be enough but I reckon at least 3 won't want to go up so was worried if say 6 or 7 would look a bit pants xxx
