not sure if its already been thought of, but i have been struggling 2 think of tables names, couldnt think of a theme, but i have kinda found 1, im gonna translate the words 'love' and 'marriage' in2 different languages and call each table that, then im also gonna put a quote for example 'A simple I love you means more than money' or 'Love is blind-Marriage is an eye-opener' with the corresponding translation, some r funny quotes some r soppy quotes, just thought i would share xxx

thats brilliant. we're having our favourite authors as table names. the top table is Tolkein. we are a bit worried though coz one of H2B's favourite authors is Phillip K Dick, which means a group og people have to sit at the "Dick" table. I suggested my family coz we aren't that keen on them lol

We're naming our tables after the bands we have seen together, ie, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc, then I have chosen a lyric from each of the eight bands and have put these as a quote on the bottom of the place cards. Like the photo idea. x

Some of these ideas r fab! I'm looking for an idea for mine. I went to a friends wedding last year and theres had pics of the bride and groom as they grew up and i was goin to go for that as i have known H2B since i was a toddler so we coould go that extra stage and have pics of us TOGETHER as we grew up :-) That would have been awesome but having sifted through the photos at both parents housees, found depressingly few pics of us together :-( gutted!! x

at the minute i'm only having five tables and each one is having a black and white picture in the middle of my parents his parents and three sets of grandparents so that the seating plan will be 'terri and jims table', 'mary and davids table'......

That's a nice idea - I don't think ours will be labelled - but don't know yet we're still faffing about with ideas as I was trying to use teddies on the centrepieces and its complicated. :-s
Currently have an idea in the pipeworks but waiting for a model chair to be made so we can see if the idea will work out. :)
