I joined this site hoping to get a free engagement photo shoot for me and the other half, but to no avail as no photographers in this area are doing offer... I think it is very unfair that we are unable to have photos taken to celebrate our wonderful news!!! We are on a really tight budget for the wedding anyway ( Less than £1500), am getting there so thought a free pic would help...... Please can anyone help, we are willing to travel within reason, just want a lovely photo of our special time.............

Do you have any friends or coworkers with some photography talent. My cousin had a friend take pictures of herself and h2b for their table numbers, and tbh I thought those pics looked better than many of the professional pictures of their day! Probably had something to do with them being more comfortable with their friend. My advice would be not to overlook people you know that have talents that could help you on your big day.
You've joined the right site for budget brides. There are a lot of ladies on thus site that can give you good advice for working with your budget.

Generally this is to encourage you to book the photographer for the wedding and i can imagine some photographers getting shirty if you dont. May be a blessing in disguise? Otherwise just google photographers in your area, ring them and say, 'Another photographer has offered me a free engagement shoot can you match or beat that?' they always do.
Clearly noone in your area has chosen to advertise with UKbride as they have to pay to be on the site. bad luck im afraid! Where abouts do you live? If you are nearish me i have a great photographer who ive chosen after contacting literally thousands of em and deciding they are too expensive. You could search her on here (where i found her) Kate Everall, shes charging £700 for 4 hours coverage, engagment shoot, and 250 edited on a disk. but no prints or album, however i am 15 mins from her so this may have played a part in that.
All the photographers have quoted me over £1000, which was more than my private surgery by the Countries top specialist. I feel that this is a bit cheeky. my whole budget is £3000, so even she is costing over a 6th of my budget! Good luck!
