You can boxes of haribo etc from asda, get a few of these nearer the time and put 5 - 10 sweets in each bag :-)

Asda is good for retro sweets- although if you have vegetarian guests, do check the ingredients. Look out for gelatine, rennet (not that common, but check any dairy based sweets) and carmine (colouring in red and pink sweets) especially.
If you have a Mr Simms near you, might be worth a look... although they might be a bit pricey.

Why not look at buying lots of retro sweets in individual sets, such as popping candy, refresher chewy sweets and love heart bags of 100. Wrapped sweets might work best with organza bags x

thanks ladies. not going to get them yet obviously , but just wanted to try and do a bit of pricing, just to see if it was going to be worth doing that or looking for something else x

TeSco do retro sweets. I was going to do what you're doing for the favours but I have changed my mind....again! I am having sweet bowls with the buffet at night. Not a proper sweet buffet as such just a few retro sweets for fun. For the wedding breakfast I'm having little silver chocolate dragees as table confetti and then everyone's having two choc neopolitans that will be placed on or by the napkins. The wrappers have little silver holographic hearts on them. Can you guess my theme is hearts lol ;)
