I bought my shoes a while ago, I absolutely adore them!! However, I tried them on with a long skirt so h2b couldn't see and I am taller than him in them. He doesn't mind but I think it may look a bit silly in pics as I'm not normally taller than him.
He is going to see if he can get his shoes with a heel but if not I will need another pair of shoes. Can anyone help me find any? I am sooooo stuck,not found one pair I like. I want black shoes to go under my red dress.

Do you normally wear shoes this high? I assume not because you write you are normally not taller than h2b. My main concern would be my feet - as gorgeous as the shoes are my feet already hurt just looking at them :-) But they are beautiful!

Oh wow they are amzing. I have the same issue, all the shoes I want would make me taller than h2b and I really don't want to be. I suggested to him to get those built up shoes and he said he would but a) they seem rather exspensive and b) I think he would be embarssed if people knew lol! He is 5.12 anyway, so I think I'm just going to go for a smaller heel. have you tried office? Or Irregular choice? If you're wanting shoes that are a little out of the norm these shops never fail to deliever :) and if you wanted you could get a plain pair of black shoes and buy a cameo to put on them, just customize :)

Is it a gothic look you are after? I second Irregular Choice - best shoes ever. And Vivienne Westwood does a very afgordable range with black shoes with skulls.

You could get a second lower heeled pair for the earlier part of the day, photos etc, and put these on in the evening if you really have your heart set on them. They're miles high and i wouldnt be able to walk in them lol, but if they're 'the shoes' then just get a smaller/lower heel for the daytime x x
try elegant steps, they do a free dyeing service so you can get shoes in black and you can search by heel height too - and free postage!

Irregular choice are awesome or if you are after some a little different but gothic/punk/alternative style then check out iron fist. They are my favourite shoes in the whole world!

I would also massively recommend Irregular Choice. I wanted to get my wedding shoes from there but left it too long and they discontinued them! Super comfy as well as being absolutely beautiful. xx

LittleMissBossy - I do actually wear heels that high often! Though I think the photo's may look a bit silly if I'm taller... it bothers him when I'm taller in my heels and he sticks on some new rocks but he wants to wear proper shoes for the wedding and would like to be taller than me (or same height)
Hmmm, not sure what look I'm going for... just a ME look. I'm loosely vintage, loosely gothic, loosely rock chick and losely pinup yet I can be quite mumsy.. I guess, and the wedding is very much like this.

Oooh totes agree with LittleMissBossy about the VW Anglomania - absolutely stunning! My shoes are silver (and not terribly interesting) as my dress is so long, and there won't be any kneeling at the altar etc so I just settled for comfy ones I can do our first dance in! Wish I hadn't now looking at all these lush shoes. Soon to be Mrs Mann I do that too sometimes in my super high heels but it drives h2b mad! Xx
