i am putting out Molton Brown hand wash and hand cream for them too. The stuff in my venue is pretty nice though anyway. Also mini lipsticks and foundations for make-up tops ups throughout the night.

i was goin to do this but the toilet near our reception room has one toilet for people to share then the others are public toilets for everyone and dont see y people who arent attending the wedding should be able to use our things. xx

I found a brillant site that does toiletries and im going to get a set for each of the guests staying at our venue (pic's on my profile in things i like album) they are only 2.99 for each set......bargain i feel

fashion mags often give away free samples of stuff liek this, as do hairdressing/beauty mags. i'm not goign to be buying anything like this, except for a big bottle of nice hand cream. We're outside all day, though, so i'm going to make sure ive got some of those handwarmer things floating about; poor guy's "little guys" might not appreciate cold hands lolz <3 x

The thing is I can see most of this going into handbags so the time other guests go in there is nothing left. Would you not be better to buy big bottles of a nice hand soap and hand cream that can't be lifted into bags? Although these are great ideas I can see them vanishing before the night is even half way through!

If you want to do these little things but not want them nicked how about having someone you trust look after the bag/basket of goodies and leave a note in the ladies or somewhere else mentioning they can get something they need from whomever you've entrusted? x

dont really care if folk steal things, thats what i am putting them out there for!! the baskets will go out after the meal, not long before the night guests arrive. I have LOADS of mini fragrances, make up items, FCUK sparkly slippers, mouthwash, plasters etc etc. I very much doubt any of my guests would fill their handbag with most of the stuff, they are more likely to take what they want to use. i would hope so anyway
