I know its been nearly five weeks, but this is my first chance to do this!

    1) However carefully you plan the morning, time runs away. Tell everyone you need to leave half an hour before you do.
    2) Drink loads in the morning- I was really thirsty in church!
    3) SMILE and everyone smiles with you
    4) If you have the choice either to laugh or cry- LAUGH!
    5) Don´t stress about time- and make sure theres loads of leeway in your planning!
    6) Take time to go round and talk to everyone.
    7) Little girls will want to dance with the ´princess´
    8) Don´t worry about the dress. It looks after itself, then it goes to the cleaners.
    9) Have fun
    10) Don´t drink shots.

That is astounding thanks :oD, like the others have said you really don't think about keeping hydrated first thing. Think the one that is gonna give me trouble is getting around to everyone, the reception is gonna be mahooosive (478 so far have confirmed the date change - eeeeeeepps).

My one worry is as I am wearing my mums dress for most of the day and am terrified something will happen to it, get damaged, spilt on etc etc, (will be changing into a second dress for the reception, so I can relax and boogie)

the water one was good advice dove! i drank almost 2 litres and only wee'd twice the WHOLE day! lol my tips would be

make sure your dress JUST touches the floor and no longer otherwise it'll get stepped on. LOTS!
make sure you check yourself in a full length mirror so you can see what you look like (ie make sure the dress isn't fastenend too tight)
make sure you have bridesmaids nearby at all times so if any crisis happens you can allocate the job to one of them instead of stressing yourself out about it.
arrange with one of the bridesmaids or whomever is walking you down the aisle to put your veil over you (if you have one)
arrange with your groom to get him to lift your veil (if you have one) when you get to him.
smile and enjoy the day! x

    Ok my tips
    1. Deodorant!!!! Big dresses make you hot and sweaty! You dont want to be like me and be putting your husbands ring on in the church and then think you could be using another spray. MOH had to provide spray a few times during the day :P
    2. You can make sure its all to plan and some cow will ruin it. Despite my make up lady being an hour and a half late, I was ready to leave for the church 5 mins early (whoop) and then got a call. The cow getting married before me had showed up 15 mins late and its all all backed up. Didnt really want to sit so I just stood in my hallway lol
    3. Your left hand will become the property of your guests so, a. invest in a set of acrylics, or at leats make sure they are pretty, b. never hold a drink in your left hand as people just rip the hand away from you.
    4. Dont be under the illusion you will speak to you husband for much of the day :p Also you will be busy, he will likely be sat down having a pint! lol
    5. There are a lot of times everyone is stopped and looking at you, be prepared for a lot of attention. During the first dance I hid my head in my husbands shoulder cos I couldnt take it any more! lol

    Thanks for the super tips!

I think I'll have to work on my pelvic floor muscles too, I need a wee whenever I'm nervous anyway never mind on my wedding day with everyone looking at me!!!

Also I think planning plenty of time between things is the best bit of advice, you don't want to be having to rush people between things....hmmmmmmm more planning to do me thinks!

Careful with the drinking as a lot of churches don't have toilets! My friend who is a vicar told me the other day that he had done a wedding where they had all had champagne before the ceremony and the bridesmaids couldn't keep still because they all needed the toilet so badly!

heres one - If you are staying away from home on the weddign night, pack properly.

You dont want to be like me the morning after, running around the hotel, barefoot and looking like I had put my finger in a plug socket because I hadnt thought to bring shoes or a hairbrush!

i'm like many of you and go for about 50 wee's a day and on the actual day i went for a wee twice. i think i sweated most of it out! lol i wore shorts underneath my dress to stop my thighs rubbing together.

practice wearing your shoes esp if you've got heels and you're not used to wearing them. i practiced standing still in one spot for 25 mins ever day for 2 weeks or so before the big day so your feet are used to the shoes!

i hardly spent any time with Neil on the big day i spent most of my time on the dancefloor with the girls or talking to guests or having my picture taken!!!

most of all ladies just remember it's the biggest day of your life just enjoy it! x
