hi ladies i went to a wedding fare this weekend and i managed to book the fowers and the car for my h2b im well excited just the photographer to go and thats the last major thing realy to book . i love being organised and not getting married till 2014 , hope im not being to keen . also have sorted one of my hen partys out i know i have organised but if left for my bridesmaid would be a mess and at least i know whats going on . going to marbs so well excited just close friends and family for this one .
can not wait . getting excited but im realising how much were spending and dont think dad is happy lol xxxx

i'm the same we dont get married till 2015 and we have booked venue ,videographer, photographer, chair cover, dove release, i would book a lot more but some require deposits and we need to start saving for that. x

Never too keen! You'll have less to worry about as time goes on! plus more time to pay for these things! I've got 5months left, and I havnt booked everything... so its deffinetly not a bad thing for you! lol xx

no no your not to keen it means you'll get the suppliers you want if you leave it to late they might not be available im october 2014 so im the same but were just starting to book up the now :)

No never to keen your very organized and you need to be as oranising a wedding is hard work.
We booked our photographer a year and a half in advanced as he only does 20 weddings a year so we really needed to book him in.

I have booked alot too. Venue, we are getting married and having the reception in one place, they are doing all the flowers including mine and bridesmaids, chair covers and sashes, Dj, wishing well , sweet table, sit down meal and evening buffet, drinks for meal and toasting so they have taken alot of the pressure off. I have booked one car so far, photographer, my dress is paid for in full. One bridesmaid dress dep paid, groom's and best mans suits half paid, rings bought, just agreed on cake and paying the dep soon. I think there is more but can't remember at the moment LOL.

I don't think its too keen hun, i am madly organised but also i change my mind a lot. Were hopefully getting married december next year, got a couple of fairs to attend Jan and Feb then from then ill book book book lol xx

Am getting married in 2014, iv got most things booked or know what we want, iv just started to make the invaitions and order of serivce, defo not to early, am looking at as run up to wedding I can enjoy the time and not stressing about things to be done if they done nice a early.

Ur not too keen hun, I'm trying to be organised but am struggling to actually make decisions and like u need to find the money for the deposits too. I like the idea of having everything booked so I know how much we need to pay so hopefully get money for the deposit on venue soon so will be good to get that sorted. I think if u can organise it early then that's great x

thanks girls at least im not the only one . but i know what your saying about having deposits for every one it can go a little mad trying to remember who you have booked and paid for and how much but im going to buy a little book so can keep up to date with it . its strange though cos im already stressing and having nightmares about the day going wrong and its ages away . my dad said he cant imagine what i will be like nearer the time xx

no i agree not too keen! I've got 17 months now and we've booked venue (we're their all day) which includes table flowers, menu cards, place names, table plan. got a meeting tonight for chair covers and flowers (another meeting next week with a different florist). Booked the caricaturist, photographer, started dress shopping, got all the favour bits.. We're also paying off the wedding rings. We know what dresses we want for fgs and bm's so will be ordering those closer to the time, i have my shoes and post box, ordered guestbook.. wow when I write it down I feel more organised than I think I am! We are trying to pay for one thing a month (deposits!) and then make monthly payments on it all to make it more manageable..xx
