Me & H2B dont want a formal wedding breakfast and after finding a venue 45 minutes from wehre we live ont he internet that advertisen the following "We have no standard wedding packages, all our weddings are tailor-made around your dream of your perfect day. We work with you to meet your vision within your budget. We are flexible on how you use the hotel and grounds We never forget that this is your day, and as such, our flexibility and attention to detail will ensure we deliver your perfect wedding - a day to remember"

This made us think FAB we can have a hot bufett, Carvery or BBQ style thing HOWEVER....
I sent them an email explining this is what we were looking for and asking if this was possible, called and spoke to the co-ordinater for about 30 minutes about things and she said that she would need to check with the manager regrding this but it may be possible.

Well last night i had an email from them "Unfortunately we are also unable to provide a buffet or hot carvery for a Wedding Breakfast at the hotel, we can provide the formal Wedding Breakfast and Evening Buffet of Ham Baps "

SO annoying this is not what they advertise at all and my prfect wedding doesnt include a formal meal so why say they are flexible and are tailormade around our dreams!!!!

lets hope my other choice is nice and will offer what we want if not we have to start looking all over again and the way it going will be looking forever!!!

i would send them an email back and say that its false advertisement....you could get on to trading standards x

Yeah it's false advertisement. I can't believe they are saying that but then when you ask them saying they can't do it. Fingers crossed the other hotel is perfect x x
