I'm having a black and white theme for my wedding. We're having black bridesmaid dresses, cup cakes and the seat covers and table sashes. I'm not extending this to my guests as I'd like them to add some colour to the occasion xx

I was going to have a disney theme as was supposed to get married in disney but we're not now (long story) but its just making me sad lol. So ive got a few bits mixed in (ring cushion, disney choc's and a picture of mickey and minnie as the background on my menu's and table names) with my original theme which is black, white and red roses.

We'rre having a slightly retro (ish) theme, afternoon tea and lawn games etc. But also mixed with a slightly festival theme as the reception is happening in a field with two big domes (rather like the Eden projectdomes, but much smaller!) We are having deep purple with touches of silver for our colours - mainly so I can wear purple shoes under my dress!

mine is cinderella/disney priness with black, white, blues and silver details it sounds a lot but when it comes together it looks gorgeous just cos im still a little kid and a princess at heart lol OH said 'ok as long as i dont have to wear pink' when i suggested disney princess haha

were having a enchanted forest theme, to fit with our green color scheme, as this is the main color of H2B's kilt! Wanting natural twigs and ivory centre pieces, and some glow sticks to look like magical fairys.... hoping it will look as good as it does in my head lol

Hi yall! These themes sound lush. Was just wondering if anyone has a theme running throughout their wedding and they want to share their ideas on invites, decor, favours etc...of their chosen theme....there is a thread on the forum called ...List of themed wedding ideas. It would be great if you could add to the list so that other b2b may find inspiration. Likewise if you are stuck for ideas check the thread out...there are some weird and wacky themes but also some which are elegant and simple to do. xxxx

Ours sounds quite boring compared to you lovely ladies, lol. We're just having very traditional with a vintage edge, candleabra, crystals and poshness etc. I have likened myself in my gold dress to the Queen Mum attending the opera to give you an idea what I'm thinking, not quite as wrinkly though ;o) xxx

At the mo we are thinking Harvest Festival (sunflowers, wheat, pumkins, general feasty goodness!) with lots of 'chocolate orange' elements thrown in for good measure. :)

Elsie I love the sound of that! We are going down similar lines since we are getting married in October we are having an autumnal theme so lots of browns, reds, burnt oranges etc. Not quite worked out all the details yet though :S

we're having a champagne/gold/black theme, with marabou and ostrich feathers wherever i can put them- i have a thing about feathers. champagne and ivory feathers on invites with a black/ivory cameo button. tall glass vases with black ostrich feathers, champagne(ish) goose tail feathers and cream wooden roses arranged in the top, just scatter some gold/black confetti around, and maybe some more feathers lol
