i confused at the moment as i am still at the planning stage and haven't booked anything yet ive been going through different websites and i cant decide what i want for my big day.
Originally i was going with purple but im hoping to get married in sept next year but ive come across others thing i like e.g. black and white and i dont know if purple will look right. i really like orange aswell but someone i know has just got married and she had orange and she had pumpkins as her centre pieces and i dont want to be seen as copying.
So any ideas???? :)

I think you will know it when you see it. I personally wouldn't mind at all if someone used the same theme as me, I would see it as a compliment. You could choose tropical colours and have pineapples instead of pumpkins, the choice is endless. Good luck with your choices hun, it will come to you :o) xxx
JD is taken so I'll settle for being Mrs Marge :o)

i've popped a link on my wall of the purple and orange theme have a nose :0) so warm they look together x
Do you and h2b have a particular favourite colour?
I've found that usually for more formal weddings, people usually use ivory or white with a contrasting colour and a metallic colour like gold or silver for trimmings. Popular colour schemes I've seen are pale blue and ivory, pink and white, purple and white, black and white.
For informal weddings you can go a bit more crazy, have blues..red... teal... orange... chocolate...fuschia or any combintation of colours you like really :) I'm having an informal wedding and my colours are purple, pink, orange and yellow :)
Got married 27th June and blessed on July 5th 2012

We've gone for ivory, silver & baby pink but it took us a lot of work to decide. Cadbury purple & orange look stunning together as a colour scheme but what I would say is they are very bold colours and it takes a certain type of complexion to pull them off so I'd think about your BMs and other members of your WP and whether or not they could carry the colours off.
Love the idea of pumpkin centrepieces, I'd have loved a Halloween wedding!! xxx
It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

ours is now purple/silver/lilac/dusty pink. I keep changing it!! my dress is quite blingy and has crystals and pearls all over it so I am going to kinda run with that theme now. But I have already bought purple bridesmaid shoes, and pink rose tea light holders so have to just work it all in together somehow!
but i think you need to get your finger our lass and decide and start getting things bought!
I don’t repeat gossip so listen very carefully!!
