hi :) i'm not having a theme! our colour scheme is blue and ivory, so i'm just matching things to those.. we do have a sweet buffet and small jars of sweets as favours, but i wouldn't say it's a theme at all. are you having one? x
CommentAuthorSarahB814
hmm, guess you could say my theme is butterflies. Colour scheme is ivory and burgandy and almost everything has a butterfly in it

I thought I was the only bride in the wedding world that wasn't having a theme!! It's either seaside/shabby chic/sweets etc and I thought am I doing it wrong!! I've just got my colour and would call it elegant traditional!

i dont have a theme... our colours are turquoise and silver... we love disney, not having a disney THEME wedding as can go quite tacky... but the odd thing like cake topper/ring pillow (teeheehee) will have mickey and minnie...but actual deco/wedding wise, nope! x

We sort of have a theme but it's more that it goes with the time of year and our colours. We are getting married next December (It still feels weird saying that lol) so having winter wonderland colours - ice blue, white and silver. I want the wintery aspect in my cake and table centres but not xmasy stuff (maybe a silver bauble or two but nothing more than that) and nothing over the top. That is about as far as my theme goes really. I don't think you have to have a theme really but I am gettiing fed up of seeing the sea side and shabby chic themes everywhere. Even the wedding mags I have, have nothing but that which is a bit frustrating. It is a lovely theme and I have a friend doing it for her wedding next year but I don't want that and wish other ideas were out there at the moment xx

We're getting married at the beach so I guess you could say we have a beach theme. Not doing any decorations or anything I'll leave that to mother nature.

Our wedding kind of fell into a theme really, ........I had doves on the invites i made with a light sage green ribbon....We had birdcage table centres....so then i got a pedestal cage for outside the barn...then thought about putting birds in it, then birds arrived on the postbox.....hanging off the wishing tree, then the cake was a birdcage shape, so i made tiny little birds nests with chocolate eggs as favours, added some feathers to the flowers and my hair accessories, I then decided to name the tables after British birds....It sounds alot, but i thought it worked so well.......check out my pics to see what i mean xxx
