Could you incorporate it into the table centrepieces?.... It may sound wierd, but I saw in a magazine where the centrepieces were like wellington boots with flowers in the top!... I thought they looked quite funky, although they're not the sort of thing I'd have personally - & they may not be to your personal taste either! lol! but thought they may be worth a mention. x x

have you chosen where you're getting married/having the reception!!!??? maybe you could have a barn dance theme in the evening and name your tables after farm related things...Still thinking for you xxx
CommentAuthorSteffie
Can you arrive to the venue/church by tractor??? lol
have you got the place cards if not you could use apples or somekind of locally sourced produce, stick a stick in there and attach your cards, or, put fruit in your table displays, along with flowers if you are having them!

have you got your transport sorted? maybe arriving at the ceremony in a tractor of some sort decorated with your chosen flowers? and for wedding favours maybe give your guests little jars of honey with hand tied ribbons or a packet of seeds so they can have a lasting reminder of your big day xxx

buckets come in 6 or 12 packs, they are really cute, have jelly belly jelly beans in them too, you know apple, strawberry, grape etc or you could match your colour scheme and go grape and chocolate pudding! £20 a kilo bag off the website. island punch is a real purple colour!
CommentAuthortwirler
have you sorted ya venue out and menu you could have picnics with blankets or little picnic baskets what type of farmer is he

Bear - My h2b would love tractors as centrepieces! lol! He is obsessed with tractors & diggers (he's an engineer for jcb so it's to do with his job - he's not just wierd! lol!!). The fruit instead of placecards is a good one! - I saw that in a mag too & the fruit had been spraypainted to match the colour theme of the wedding. Maybe you could do something like that? x x
CommentAuthorMrsEverton2b
oh n for teh diabetics among you they do a sugar free range £11 for mixed box a jelly beans!
CommentAuthorangelan1986
actually i was watching something where they had apples as the name card but spray painted gold so you could spray them silver then have the name tags stuck into them the same colour as bms dresses to tie it in xx
CommentAuthorMrsEverton2b
it depends how you want your table displays, with flowers, without flowers etc

what about candle displays, you can get them vases with the candle holder ontop if you could get some tiny toy tractors you could make a lovely display, the middle one having the tractor in and others having a single flower on a bed of coloured stones to match your theme
CommentAuthorangelan1986
How about getting metal watering cans and having some flowers coming out of the top, something big like sunflowers or gerbera daisys then decorating the outside with some ivy xx
CommentAuthorMrsEverton2b
another thought on the candle idea, a big vase with a tractor display in, with gel candle mixture in, put flowers in it, and light it on the table, you could have a ring of flowers round the bottom, and you could make them yourself! and either keep them or give them away! or burn the wax right down wash the tractor and give to the kids!
CommentAuthorangelan1986
a thing to think of though is if your having kids at the wedding they will want to play with the tractors rather than look at them lol xx

Bear, odd idea for you - you still want purple in your theme ??.. google dried flowers .... loads of the dries flowers end up being purple and they seem really 'farmy' they're nice - might give you ideas for tables or even your own bouqet xxxx Good luck

What about constructing a farm as the centre pieces. I used to have a toy farm as a kid - you know the old macdonald type with a couple of cows horses and other farmy animals, then use barbed wire to make a fence around them.
Get the DJ to play Old macdonald as your first dance - hilarious.xxx
There is a story somewhere of a lady who had her dress made of wool from their farm and her husbands suit was too. google farmers wedding.xx
I'm now a married woman
I have a gorgeous husband
Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do
