I don't blame you for wanting to keep your dress as I think once you have got your dress then it is your dress and you wouldn't want to change it. Its very nice of Mori Lee to let you change it for bridesmaid dresses instead.

I agree with the earlier comments though that it is really good to be able to share with the plans and excitment with you rather than just seeing one article a year later.

Well sweetie - I think I speak for us "old" ones when I say we're really pleased you're keeping us updated and in that way involved.

I would (if I had won) have kept my dress - think most of us would have and bought the girls bridesmaid dresses etc from ML too so don't even worry about it :D

Hello Everyone.

We went to F Hinds on the weekend, and we have picked our rings. We haven't got them yet as we wanted to sleep on our decisions, and then we need to contact the head office to organise getting them.

I have picked a white gold ring (my engagement ring is white gold so wanted them to match) and it has a small row of diamonds along it - a little like an eternity ring - but when worn with my engagement ring it looks gorgeous!!

And h2b Has picked a plain white gold band as he just wanted something simple and clean.

we're both very excited to get them!!

I still need to sit down with my MOH to discuss the bridesmaid dresses There are so many lovely ones on Mori Lee that it's really hard to chose.

I have 3 BMs. The MOH is 28 and I want her to have a different dress to the other two.
The 1st BM will be just 17 by the wedding
and the 2nd BM will be 15 by the wedding

So i dont want to get the younger two anything thats too old (or too sexy either)

So we're thinking below the knee dress with straps for the two girls, and then strapless and floor length gown for MOH.

As long as they are all in the same colour.

Decisions decisions!!!

thank you, I wanted something simple yet a little glitzy. My engagement ring looks quite big on my finger, so didnt want anything massive otherwise it would look silly.

and when i pulled my engagement ring off it still looked nice on its own - but of course when I did this h2b got quite upset and said - why would you take the engagement ring off!
I said I dunno - maybe I wont always want to wear it!
He was very offended and upset that I wouldnt always wear it!!
Poor baby! I promised to wear it forever!!

Its funny how your h2b can get upset over something you wouldnt imagine them getting upset over. Its also very sweet!!

My h2b is the same. I took my engagement ring off just after i gave birth to my daughter cos she was in the neonatal unit so had to use the hand sanitiser stuff which dried out my hands so i was always putting hand cream on them and i didnt want to get cream all over my ring but when i told him the reason why i took it off he was fine with it.

Your ring looks lovely. When you described it first of all i thought it sounded kinda like the same ring as i have chosen but its not. You have more bling lol

I like the last one, but then I am biased towards that one since I've been eying that one up for my MOH lol

this prob doesnt help but i like all of them. they are all different than the one before. i think the best way is for your bm and moh to try them on and dresses do look different when on!

also having 2 in the same dress maybe quite hard to get them to get a dress to suit them both as i had trouble as my bm are both different body shapes.

try them on is prob the best thing xx

Oooh its all so exciting - I LOVE your wedding ring - it's stunning! My H2B is really funny about me not wearing my engagement ring too bless him...but my wedding ring is going to have to be shaped around my engagement ring so it will look odd on its own.

Your BM dresses are gorgeous too - I really love No 3 & 6 - and No 9 is gorgeous - you'll have to see which style suits her best really and I think No 11 is pretty and 'grown up' without being sexy for your younger ones.
