Has anyone tried on their dress with the train hooked up for the evening? If you have any photos to show that would be great! I really like the idea as I want to hit the dancefloor! The dress shop said that the train could be hooked up to a loop just under the bum but I can't really imagine what it would look like. And is that what they mean by a bustle?

I have no pics bt my dress has a loop underneath topick up the train but they are also going yo add bustle hoops for me just incase i decide holding it gets annoyin lol! I wasnt keen on the look of a bustle but she said theres a few dif ways she cud do it also it may come in handy and for how little my alterations r going to cost its not guna b that much of a prob or waste if i decide not to use it.. at least its there if i feel i need it

Yes, that's the bustle! If you google pictures, there will be loads up there I'm sure :) I haven't got married yet nor had the bustle put in yet so I can't show you mine as an example! x

I had mine bustled at the back for the evening. I had a loop of ribbon and a button to hold it. My DH stood on my dress on the bouncy castle and ripped it off, making a hole in the seem of my dress too! Luckily we managed to safety pin it together. Cant find a photo of it properly bustled up (but if you check G00gle it should come up with loads) But here's a pic of my train in full and our bodged up bustle.
Full train
Emergency bustle
I do remember someone (Hails?) posting how to DIY a bustle
Yep, that's a bustle, I had one put in for my dress but in the end on the day just held the train up all night with the hook around my wrist.

I don't have any pics, but mine hooked up, emphasised the detail on the train, it was lovely. It did keep on unhooking though.

I'm the same can't decide if I just want to hook it up round my wrist with a loop or a bustle, my train isn't huge but I don't want people stepping on it or it getting ripped. But then the main feature of my dress is the lacey train so don't know if I want it hidden away in a bustle..

My train was hooked up. There was a loop that hooked over a button.

I'm getting mine altered so it can hook up but not sure I ill use it. Wanted the option so that the kids aren't standing on my dress all night and can pick my boys up easier for cuddles and dancing
