I Will be waking up next to my H2b on the day of our wedding at the venue, i wont be walking down an aisle to meet him, once im ready and in the dress we Will gather in the garden of the castle before the wedding ceremony and be in it together from the start.

We live together, well he lives in my flat at the moment as he sold his house. We move into our new house once it's renovated in March hopefully. On the night before the wedding though I'm going to go and stay at my parents house in my old bedroom and we'll get ready and leave from there so will not see H2B after the late afternoon the day before until I walk down the aisle. So excited! I guess he'll stay in our house.

We are having dinner together the night before, alot of our friends and family are staying the night before at our reception hotel so all having a big dinner together so families can meet other then im going back to my mums house which is by the church and were i grew up and my bridesmaid all staying. H2B will stay at the hotel with all his family and alot of mine xx

I'm staying at the hotel venue the night before with one of my bridesmaids. Hair and make up will come to the venue in the morning along with the other bridesmaids. I like the idea of having breakfast brought to me in the morning and sipping champagne whilst they make me look beautiful! x

We live together but I think the night before the wedding we will be apart, we're probably going to be together in the evening go for food and a few drinks with family and then part our ways, H2B will be staying at his mums house with his BM & I will be staying at home on my own. I don't want people fussing on me the night before so I'm quite happy to be on my own and have an early night.

A big group of us are staying at a hotel the night before the wedding as we are not getting married in out home city. My H2b and I have booked seperate suites, so after a big family and close friends meal we will sleep seperately. I have one of my bridesmaids sharing with me and the others joining us in the morning so we can all get ready together before heading to the venue. I like the idea of my dress and hair etc being a suprise for him.

Have you booked the cottage Siany? Its just that my friend is getting married at Southwood hall, and was told she could have one of their rooms for the night before, then she got a phonecall saying that a wedding had been booked for the day before hers and they had booked and payed deposits on all lodges and rooms so she could no longer have it. She has now had to spend £850 out for transport instead! Dont want that happening to you too! xxx

We were over in Vegas and so my MoH came and stayed in our room and hubby took her room for the night. It was his stag do the day/night before and so I had my hair and make up trials with MoH and then we met our mums in the evening and went to a show/had dinner. So the last time I saw my fiancée was at about 9am the day before our wedding - I was without him for about 26 hours before the wedding.

Ouch!! We haven't booked them yet, I want to wait & see how many of the bridal party want to stay overnight too & they will pay for their own rooms & guests will have a look at close b&bs. Your poor friend though :( that's very naughty! Really, they should of told the wedding party that the cottages are already booked for the previous night, but obviously they've just thought about the money from the actual wedding so cancelled your friend! Did they give her the deposit back?? Do you know which cottage she booked & how much she paid for a deposit? I suppose, if we do book the cottage, they can't turn us away last minute as the wedding the next day will be mine! Lol xx

We got married at Gretna so stayed in the same hotel we were having for our reception. We paid for an extra single room the night before the wedding so that husband could sleep there - then the next morning he got ready in the best man's room. I stayed in the double room for both nights (night before and wedding night). The other rooms were taken up with wedding party and guests.

No sorry Siany dont know how much she payed deposit wise but I think the cottage was £400 and that was for her, 4 bridesmaids, her mum and he brother (he is 7). The couple would only book the wedding if they could have all the accommodation too, so they told her she couldn't have it anymore! xxx

H2b and i will be in the same hotel the night before but separate rooms and i don't want him to see me until i walk down the aisle to meet him for the service. I love the tradition of a night apart even if its just symbolic as we live together,but they say absence makes the heart grow fonder =)

We decided to stay together because we went to a wedding recently (first one my H2b has ever been to) and his mate, the groom was pacing and sweating and constantly looking at his watching cos my mate (the bride) was a few minutes late. You could physically see the relief in his whole body when the BM told him "she's here". Me and H2B were seated and he grabbed my hand and whispered please dont do that to me, id keel over" lol!
Later that day at the reception the groom told h2b the million awful thoughts that had run through his head in just that couple of minutes, some as bad as that she had died and He felt he was close to a real panic moment because he realised it was so long they had not spoke for (24 hours) and when we got home that night he asked if i would mind us being together and sharing a bed as normal on the eve of our wedding day.
H2b helped me choose my dress so no need to hide from him and i wanted to be with him anyway so perfect for us.

I'm staying at the venue the night before with my bridesmaids and H2B will be at a hotel in town, but I've organised a treat for him and he's being picked up in an Aston Martin DB9 and brought to the venue :) that's worth the traditional night apart i reckon ;) x

I never saw mine on the morning. We had to book the room at the venue for the night before so that it was surely going to be ours whenever we wanted it on the day, so hubby stayed there the night as I was getting my nails done at home. I had to take my dress over in the morning but I texted him to say I was leaving home and that he could then make his way home so he could start getting sorted out so that we would not see each other.

We arnt staying together. i will be staying in the hotel the night before with my mum, my mil and my 2 bridesmaids (sil's). He will be staying with his dad, my mums bf, my maid of honour (as its a guy), his best man and 2 ushers. we can have a girly night and good rest and they can have a few drinks and a nice night in they will be coming to the hotel around 11-12 to get ready for 1pm wedding. xxx

We are staying together as we will have been engaged 10 year the week we wed so what is one more night also I will need help with the kids on the morning and little man is a hand full with his special needs and is a very big daddy's boy but h2b will b getting ready at his mom's a few streets away :-)
