I have been planning on staying at my venue the night before and when i got a quote they said £160! I wasnt impressed so i phoned them at lunch and they said £155 so I asked for a discount. I said would it be possible to do it for less as i am already spending so much at your venue and she said she can ask and will phone me back!
Just had a call and they will do it for £50! a saving of £110! so pleased i asked for discount!
my advice ladies...always ask for discount. you dont ask you dont get! xx

well done you, after all you are totally right. I would have done it if we had a civil ceremony, but Church is next to my house, so will have all the girls come here and H2B sent to stay with his best man :)

Yeah I'm staying at venue night before with my bridesamids and moh, they quoted 195 per room per night, I asked for a discount at got the honeymoonsuite the night before for 115 and for the wedding night at 135 and the 20 was for the fruit and champers and extras in room, was really pleased I asked, nothing to loose. Well done ladies on all your haggling x
