I'd love to have a Hollywood done but there are no beauticians near me who do it :( I just shave it off but it does itch and I can sometimes get bad ingrown hairs :( I used to use Veet down there but I once burned my button area and it felt like I was weeing acid!! Not good!! lol.

I don't mind getting anything done down there. I'm with you Roxii about it being quite an enjoyable pain. lol. I have a tattoo down there and i loved getting it done. xx

Talking of waxing, I'll need to speak to the beautician about my eyebrows. I'm going to get them done for the wedding but after a day or so I end up looking like a dot to dot puzzle. I might end up having to get them waxed the week before and let the beautician pluck them when she's doing my make up. Any ideas on reducing the dot to dot effect? xxx

dot-to-dot effect? As in red marks where the hairs have come out?

I do hun. I have quite sensitive skin so take a wee reaction to whatever they use and get little spots a day or so after the waxing. They don't hurt but are quite annoying.

hmmm witch hazel gels things like that to cool the area or do you mean where the hairs are re growing? and an Australian is all off underneath but with the top bit still there because some women feel that they look like a little girl but like this for hygienic reasons x

Or Aloe Vera.. We used to use both depending on skin sensitivity.. If you're sensitive use Aloe.. If not Witch hazel as MrsTyson said.. Is the way to go :) x

My problem is the in-growing hairs, although they can also be strangely satisfying x

Yep - although some get quite entrenched and need a bit of patience! They're the most satisfying ones though I find.

Hmmm in growing hairs near your eyes is a tricky one because you are s'pose to use scrub after you have waxed and moisturiser daily to stop this happening but near you eyes isn't sensible because if you got it in your eye it can scratch the surface... are they really bad in grown hairs as your not s'pose to leave them or is it just a layer of skin because I s'pose you could just pluck the hairs out once you have got them above the surface I get the little black dots to and I do that but waxing is good to make sure all the hairs are removed re growth is a pain x

oh you can use scrub then and moisturiser they are common there because of the area there in and no tight clothing!!! xx

Especially tight kickers.. The hairs try to grow out and they cant get past the edge of the knickers, so the only option is to grow back in again x

Lol, like I said before I Absolutely LOVE the pain of waxing.. Especially down there.. I'm used to being in pain with my back everyday, and having a pain that's less severe is nice, as the initial sting takes my mind off my back for a while.. So I quite enjoy that! :P x
