It's not that bad sophie, it depends whether you have a high pain threshold or not. I personally love that sort of pain! :p lol. And Beauty therapists don't think anything of it when they do it, you could have a gammy f4nny LOL (not saying you have) and they dont bat an eyelid! x
CommentAuthorjenniebean
no secrets she has seen the lot very relaxed though she was lovely i had to hold bits tight while she waxed lol but we chatted about normal stuff and it was just like going the hair dressers really haha i would think about having it done at least a week before your wedding though as things are a bit sore now
CommentAuthorkatrinatudor
Roxii you made me chuckle then.. im considering.. i think i have a high pain threshold.. i delivered a baby with only gas and air lol *flexes muscles* im seriously considering it.. all im worried about is the whole dignity bit.. but your comment reassured me roxii lol x

CommentAuthorRoxii

No we had to do it separate because City and Guilds don't allow it or something I didn't mind I'm just starting a course on threading soon with Sallys x
CommentAuthorMrsB
Stuff that jenniebean I'll stick to my venus razor haha x
CommentAuthorRoxii
Ehh.. ? I did mine with city and guilds, and we had to all wax each other.. mind you, my college is warped! I keep meaning to get round to getting a sally's card, but I don't fancy doing threading.. :P x
CommentAuthorMrsB
Everyone seems to be doing it at the minute! I've seen treading bars everywhere its just one more qualification though I s'pose x
CommentAuthorRoxii
Yeah I don't blame you, the more qualifications you can get, the better :) x

lol Spooney! You make me chuckle sometimes :P x

I'll stick with waxing - shaving leaves me feeling itchy for weeks especially as the hair grows back - As a cheaper alternative I epilept and the latest Wet Dry ones from Braun are less painful than they used to be so that's a bonus.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

it does hurt (and I am a wuss i admit) but it's over really quickly, and I think it's worth it to not have to think of it for weeks. Especially if you are going on a bikini holiday. Also, they have seen it all before, and don't bat an eyelid, so don't worry about that.
Is an Australian what I think it is? Now THAT is a bit more undignified in my experince, but again the person doing it will have done hundreds before. I love a Sicilian - a teeny little triangle.
CommentAuthorHoxxyhula
VEET! Are you crazy lady?
CommentAuthorSuffolkSteph
Right.. I'm really Dumb... Hollywood v Brazzilian.. Whats the diffrence?
CommentAuthorHoxxyhula
Hollywood = all off.
Brazilian = little strip in the middle left
CommentAuthorSuffolkSteph
Thanks Hula... all off being Underneath too...???
CommentAuthorHoxxyhula
Well it varies. All off does mean the underneath, but not neccessarily all the way round, if you see what I mean?
CommentAuthorSuffolkSteph
Yeah.. Thanks Hula... I'm now wiping away the tears thinking about it... Thanks For clearing it up.. I'll be careful what I ask for when I next go to get Waxed....
CommentAuthorHoxxyhula
Strangely enough the underneath is not as painful in my experience....

When I was once at college We weren't supposed to do hollywoods, But this lady came in once, and she just took EVERYTHING off.. And she also STUNK... But we had to act mature about it (obviously) and the tutor ended up asking her if we could offer her an alternative treatment, as no one wanted to do it.. She said she'd just have the sides off, and this poor shy girl ended up having to do it! Bless her!! x
