We're limited to 80 at our venue so have 50 for ceremony and extra 30 for evening, would have liked a lot more but just can't do it.

We are too - starts at 7 and we have an extra 75 people coming, wish we could have afforded to invite more of them for the whole day but it £60 a head for the day and only £10 for the evening buffet xx
We have an extra 140 to the evening do as we only have 26 coming to the day time , literally family and a few close friends , then everybody invited to the evening x

we have a package of 60 to the day and 120 to the evening. there will probably be more coming to the evening but i wont be telling the venue that x

we have a lot of people travelling so we decided to invite them to the day which makes it 90 and then only about 20-30 for the evening xx

WE are having 85 during the day and can have up to 170 in the evening which we probably will near enough reach when we include work colleagues

Can I just ask and I know this might sound stupid but what happens if you invite say 50 but only paid for 40 heads and 50 turn up? Is it just a case that they will have only catered for 40? I mean surely they can't refuse people coming in? Don't think there will be a bouncer on the door or anything. We are having a wedding breakfast 3 course meal then after I've invited people from that to stay to evening,but I doubt Many of them will even touch the buffet after filling up on wedding breakfast as they carry on from each other practically evening do 45mins to 1hr after eating 3course meal? Surely they won't want to eat much? Anyone else had this thought when adding up numbers?

they wont know how many people you have in there. some places will let you cater for like 77% of the total evening numbers. just bear in mind that some places have a max capacity and i have heard of some venues saying that you have reached the max and we wont let any more people in. its do with health and safety etc. i certainly wont be telling my venue if i go over on evening numbers lol x

Well the max capacity for the room we have in the hall is 100 and I get 31 for day and 31 for evening with package I've bought then it's 16.95 per head over for evening (im fine for day numbers) I was thinking of inviting maybe 50to evening which would mean I either pay for an extra 19or... Don't tell them and just let them come because I know there will be more than enough food as most will be full and a few of older guests will probably only stay at evening an hour or so just to show there faces after being at wedding and wedding breakfast all day. Is this really tight? Lol x
