Well, I am now a very happily married lady. I'll talk you through the day and add in some pics - mostly taken on phones, uploaded to facebook and copied to my files, so please excuse the poor quality.
Okay, so the day before the wedding we took everything over to the church and hall and had a quick run through of the day with the minister, then set about sorting the hall, it looked quite good once we were done. Not forgetting our little touches, with the sweet buffet and lemonade table.

Once we were done myself, one of the bridesmaid and my flowergirl headed out for a Chinese, then went to the fair and finally headed back to the hotel for a nightcap in the bar before we all went to be about 11pm. Very funny moment in the bar when our 6 year old flowergirl slid our room key across the barman whilst telling him "I'm in room number 11"!! Talking about starting young!
The day itself: We woke around 7am and took it in turns to have a bath then went down for breakfast - some brides say they lose their appetite, but mine was fine! Then mum turned up to look after Macie whilst Rachel and I went to the hairdressers. We got back just after 11 and passed the photographer on the stairs taking pics of the dress and the make-up lady had started on my mums make-up. Shortly after Laura (BM2) turned up and we just chatted and drank prosecco whilst having our make-up done, the photographer snapped away in the background.
Then it was time to go, I was in my dress and the BMs were both shedding a tear, then the lady that offered to take me to the church started to cry and I had to tell them off, as I was fine and didn't want them to set me off. We got near the church 10 minutes early, only to find that the guests were still arriving, so we went around the block - 4 times!! Eventually at 13.58 I was allowed out of the car (with guest still arriving around me!) with time for a couple of quick snaps before entering just about on time.
The service was lovely, I tried really hard to concentrate on everything that was being said. I surprised myself by having absolutely no nerves at all, and not a single tear shed. I just smiled like a mad woman whilst everybody around cried. Dan dropped my ring which raised a laugh, and Dan's dad embellished his reading a little to add dramatic effect! Their was a hold your breath moment when the minister started a sentence with "I've done some odd weddings", and we all wondering where she was taking it, but she went on to say how she gets upset when people ask for a 'normal service' as she thinks that each wedding should be personal. Our song choice went down well, especially as we exited to 'Happy Together' by Simple Plan. It was perfect.
Once we were done, we had a quick snap of the whole wedding party outside and then went into the church hall where the cakes had now been served up.

People mingled and chatted and I tried to get around to speak to everybody before it was time for our speeches.

We then went off with the photographer for a few shots, but were gone longer than we intended, and when we got back a few guests had decided to sneak to the pub. Anyway, we suggested the rest head that way and meet us at the train station, with a few of us staying behind and relaxing for an hour.
Then it was time to head to Manchester. We had a few odd looks on the train, but on the whole people were very good.

Revolution worked really well, the room was just big enough to hold us comfortably, and the cocktails and food were excellent. We danced the night away until heading out for the taxis at 1am. The only problem with having no control over the music is that our first dance ended up being to Calvin Harris! I can honestly say that I couldn't have planned a better evening do, it was brilliant - exactly what we wanted, eating, dancing, chatting, drinking and a bit more dancing.

Ah, not quite without a hiccup - I forgot to mention this in the write-up. I fell down the stairs at the train station!! Luckily it was only a couple of steps but I did it in rather dramatic fashion! Bashed my knee, twisted my ankle and strained my wrist - I was surrounded by all my guests who burst out laughing!! Luckily I was okay, nothing out of the ordinary for me to fall over, but I thought I'd get away with it on my wedding day.
The kids were really well behaved all day, I took them to one side at the end to say a special thank you, then sent them home with a huge bag full of sweets, so I can't imagine the serenity lasted long.

Thank you ladies, it really was a lovely day.
The dress was a hit, not bad for a dress that I got from a vintage replicas shop for under £100 and spruced up with a ribbon and clip costing less than a fiver. Then the veil was £10 on ebay. My whole outfit, including veil, shoes, bag, cardigan and accessories cost less than £250.
Natalie, I've had people that weren't even there ask how my knee is!
