I was given a quote of that as well, some will quote anything up to £2.00-2.50 per cake. I was going to make my own so purchased the cupcake holders and sugar flowers for the top, mum said she would pay to save me making them, so got in touch with the sme person who done 90 cupcakes for £65. Might be worth asking if you had some stuff if it would be cheaper.

thats a general price as far as I am aware. some charge 1.50 and some even more but i think between 1-1.50 is normal price. xxx

i think that sounds about right, the woman making my cake is making my 24 cupcakes in two weeks for my baby shower and charging £20 but I think thats because I'm getting more than one order from her xx

we finally find THE cake maker the end of last year, and booked via email last week before xmas but didnt officially or put deposit down until beginning of jan and we got our wedding in May so was quite close call!!
some people do way in advance, some quite soon. if you know exactly what you are after and find the one to make it then theres no harm going to book!
we didnt know what we wanted so went looking around to find someone who understood and could see a vision! xx

We booked ours last September for next July. We're having a 3 tier topsy, turvy cake but haven't decided on flavours yet! xx

Our 4 wedding tier cake with chocolate icing is £425 so yeh would say thats good.

£1 a cake is a good deal most will charge more than that be prepared to pay a bit more if you want collers on the cakes they look pretty but will put the price up x

she said that includes fully decorated coz i want hot pink and black roses with edable glitter

Sounds good, I'm paying 1.50 a cupcake and just having a swirl on it and a small butterfly. It does work out a lot cheaper than a cake x x
