I fell off the bandwaggon.... :( i landed far far away from said waggon and have spent ages trying to get back on it again and kept failing :(
A friend took a photo of me at the weekend and i honestly couldnt believe it was me! Cant believe i am this big! I am currently a size 16 (which while i realise it isnt huge, it is massive for me!)
So i am now right back on it, which isnt easy considering we have a fridge full of cheesecake samples, but meh... I need to do something about this tummy and hips! :(

dont worry about falling off as long as you dont stay off.

I went ww today and the scales were flickering between 2.5lbs and 3lbs but settled on 2.5lbs off so got 2.5lbs left to go before I am 9 stone dead on. Really want to be back in the eights so fingers crossed I lose 2.5lb next week.

OMG that is brilliant news. U sure do have motivation there. I nearly lost it today. I was so hungry I couldnt contemplate another bowl of cereal so I nearly had a school dinner. However it was all a bit well meh so i made the sensible decisiion not to blow my points on something that I didnt really crave anyways.... not sure how much longer I can keep up the cereal at dinner thing tho. my classroom is so cold. I will start taking soup in and just hope it doesnt go splat all over the microwave

This thread is reallllllly long. But i get the jist of things. So im wanting to tone up and lose a few pounds. Ive jotted down the whole WW points systems thing, and believe that pro points allow you to have 29 points a day, dont know if this is correct, but some days i eat less than that, and due to being on birth control i put on weight for the fun of it. This time last year i was 8st 2 and size 8-10 in clothes. Im now 10st and size 10-12 on top and size 14 on bottom. Dont get me wrong i do feel more healthier for it, but with the sudden appearance of 'back fat' and my tummy sometimes makes me look like im pregnant, its really frustrating sometimes. I have recently changed my diet, cutting down on caffeine and sugars due to other health reasons. And drink water when im feeling hungry. Ive also purchased Zumba for my xbox kinect but its finding the motivation and time to get up and do it. I thought about joining slimming world or WW but tbh money is really tight at the minute. Is there anything else you ladies can suggest i do, eat whichever?! All advice will be helpful. Aswell as that if theres anyone in Thanet area who wants a jogging buddy or work out buddy im free!

i do WW and yes it is 29 daily points and 49 weekly points for emergencies like meals out etc. I basically eat cereal twice a day because i have no time in work with a yog for break, then around 500-600 cals for my tea with a mini pudd. Some days I only eat 300 cals for tea if I have fish n pots or chicken and pots but I tend not to lose much if I eat this as I think my body goes into starvation mode.

My age old tried and tested methods include switching from normal tea to green teas and peppermint teas. Definately an aquired taste and i tend to slip back into my normal tea after several months, but i always feel slimmer, less sluggish and have better skin when drinking green teas. Peppermint tea is great for aiding digestion after eating as well.

I have now moved house and am in a 3 storey town house as well, so i got 2 flights of stairs to be running up, might have to start making use of that. I have also got 10 guest passes at the gym i am a member of, so maybe if i can drag someone with me when my motivation is low that might help.

Just wondering about the minimum pro points per day on weight watchers?? im really confused!!! I found a website that told you how to work out how many daily points you are allowed and it goes as follows:
If you are female add - 2
If you are aged between 17 and 26 add - 4
Add first two numbers of current weight in pounds - 14
    Anyone that is 5'1" to 5'9" add - 1

so that makes my total: 21

Someone on here said the minimum points is 29??

Could you tell me about it please or if anyone has a calculator would you mind working out my daily points please?

Im quite happy to stay at 21 points as I have lost hald=f a stone in 2 weeks :) but if it means I will put it back on when I stop or it will make me ill or anything then ill do the 29.

the minimum is 29 and 29 also seems to be the standard. I think you are using the old points system. The new one on the foods is pro points and this is the new system we are all using.....29 us the standard and the minimum with 49 weekly ones though they recommend to only dip into those if you really need to.

Future mrs mac, hi, I do ww and i'm a breastfeeding mum. you get additional pro points as you breastfeed so you don't feel hungry. I've lost a stone so far and it hasn't affect milk supply or anything like that. If you did feel hungry you can always eat fruit without it eating into your points allowance. I've got a lot more to go tho :(

Hi Future, the old system fruit was pointed but on new system pretty much all fruit is free (but doesn't mean you can eat it all day long lol)

I also find i'm hungry in morning as b/f during evening and night so I tend to use a larger chunk ofmy points in morning that way, i dont snack on crap during day.

You shud give ww a go, you can do a pass and works out relatively cheap, worth a try and see how you feel. x Keep me posted x
