Noooo! Not at all! I have only just started looking and I am getting married this August. The ladies in the dress shops all pull a face, because they say I left it too late, apparently...

Its never too early :) i only went dress shopping in Aug 13, so that was like 9 months before the wedding and they said id left it quite late!! :-/

Not at all - I bought my dress before we even starte looking at venues. Best of luck finding 'the one'.

I got mine in August 2013 and get married July next year !
Unless you change your mind frequently so likely to change your mind before the wedding then I'd say not too early :-) xxx

I'm going wedding dress shopping in March, getting married August 2015, I'll probably look earlier then March for dresses but that's when me and my bridesmaids can all go together shopping.

Yeah I'm half expecting it to be long and drawn out, but everyone I've spoke to who's already married said they found theirs in one day of shopping after only trying a few on, we shall see. If I fall in love with one when out with my mum I think I'll still wait until I've gone with my bridesmaids as well and if that dress still sticks in my mind then I'll go back for it

No, not at all. I started 14 months before our wedding, didn't actually make my final decision on which dress I definitely wanted until 10 months before. Some shops ask for dresses to be ordered 12 months before the big day, most 9 months before and some can do 6 months before. It's good to look now in case it takes a while for you to find the one. I know someone who started looking at 18 months before her wedding but just hated everything she tried on. She didn't find the one until 5 months before the wedding.

Well im very happy with my choice, I didn't want to take it off, can't stop looking at the photo of it hehe I will have to stop looking at dresses now, like I was told finding your wedding dress is like finding your husband, once you have one you stop looking haha

Congrats on finding it, i'm going to start looking again in September/October time so that it gives me a year to have it sorted. I think i've found the one but i am waiting on the designers next collection to come out in the Autumn to make sure that the one i've found is the one. (The designer i love does similar dresses in each season).

Thats the dress I was going to get, fell in love with it when I saw it online. Didn't get round to going to the shop to try it on. Bought a different one when I went down to cornwall to visit my mum that way I got her opinion.
