Well it's my last week, Our engagement party is on Sunday. I lost 9lbs since starting my weight loss and 6lbs since starting this challenge. :)

I didn't post last week as I put 4lb on (had a very very bad week)
This week I have therefore lost 7lbs but this is mostly what I put on last week plus a bit more. Am going to go for another 7lb this week (think the 9 is now slightly too optimistic)

ok hangs head in shame... i need to change my figure to 14lbs please and will be defo starting on Tuesday x I am hoping some of this is that time of the month weight but i have been on a major binge over easter and am going to scoff all the eggs now so there is no temptation. Sowry

i dont think i did too well this week, i lost nothing last week but 4lbs the week before so still 6 to go. im doing more exercise than i have ever done in my life and im not losing anything :( i hope its going to muscle coz i do feel better in myself and things are a little less flabby.
any tips on getting rid of the last couple of pounds??

I put 3 on this week, no excuses we had a family bbq and joint birthday party and I didn't starve myself - plus first time I'd drank in ages and alcohol has always been a calorie vice for me... gonna try really hard this week x

i have went from 12 stone on the 7th april to 11stone 10 today (3 weeks and 2 days later) i still have 3lbs to lose to get to my 1/2 stone loss, i am hoping i will be able to do this in the week i have left, but i know it will be a hard week.

Can i join 11st 4lb wanna be 9 1/2 so loads to go. After loosing all my baby weigh over 10 months, Im ready to diet properly starting 9th may finishing 9th june im a head brides too 26th so it would be great to get a smaller dress :)
I plan to eat breakfast, no carbs after 6pm, no choc or cakes etc (fruit only) and Zumba twice a week plus swimming too

Did.we.finish or r.we.still.going??? last weigh in i.was 10st 2lbs need to get to 9st 7lbs. So far im.on week.7 of diet.gone from.11st 7lbs to 10st 2 htb said.last night he feels.like.hes cheating on me as.feels.like sleeping with someone.else.lol i.dont know.if thats nice or not haha men xx

im so not doing well.I am happy i have not stayed at 11.9 (74kg) as i was stuck at it for over 4 days, but after a take away (or 3)i have now lost weight and am down too (73.4kg) 11stone 7.8lbs I know i should be happy at my 9lb loss in 6 weeks but since i only have 6 weeks left and need to lose another 9-14lbs. im not very convinced ill get their, but ill try my best. Then i have the hardest job of maintaining my weight for 7 weeks till my wedding date :S
As for if this is still going, alot of new people have joined in, so as long as sarsibob1 doesn't mind (since she started it) then i think it will keep going .If not i would be glad to start one at the begining of each month like what happens on the weight loss sight i am on.For al those wishing to do a monthly challenge, get/receive encouragement, and have a good time

well normally I fall off the bandwagon the day I started but im on the second day and starving but going strong. Really worried though as I have to go to a bbq on sat and its being done on the cheap i.e. crappy burgers full of fat and one will never fill you up. Thinking of having a weight watchers meal before I go and then I can get away with eating one burger instead of feeling hungry after one urger and eating all the other rubbish. What do I do. Normally i wouldnt be bothered but its so close in. If im going to do it, then id rather go at it full steam ahead for the first week at least.

I have ate well over 15 take aways in the past month and still lost 9lbs (probably why i havent lost more weight - lol)
Anyway your idea is a good one, but for me i often watch what i eat during the day -
small bowl of cereal, piece of toast, then enjoy a night out.
If you keep to a fairly healthy diet most of the time, then a odd night out will not matter at all.The trouble is, a weight watchers meal although the better choice, means nothing by the time you have the burger.
Will their be a salad or could you take a salad - from tesco or asda etc, with you.As this will help fill you up without adding on the callories to much
This is also a good general tip i learned and has helped me when eating out. Order a salad as a starter and by the time you finish it you will be less likely to eat as much of the main that possibly isn't as good for you.Another thing you could do is to share a main meal - also helps save some pennies for the wedding ;) if you get hungry later on, you should be in your home and be able to get a more healthy snack to help fill you up
These are just tips that help me, they might not work for everyone, only you will know /work out what helps you

problem is the reason why I can lost my weight quikcly is because I am sooooo limited in the day as it is. I have two bowls of cereal and then an evening meal of no more than 550 calories. However, normally thinking about it, my metabolism is pretty good in that when I go the slow boat during my diet and i pig out as its all you can eat chinese, Yes i gain 2lbs by the following morn but likely to be 3lb down on the week. Hopefully im panicking for nothing. I think i am probably eating too little and so this may give me a boost.

that happened to me last week, i was only eating about 800 (roughly) a day for 4 days and lost nothing, ate popcorn,indian,and chippy (over 2 days) and lost 3lbs.
If that is the case, i would say enjoy a night out and keep the ready meal for another night :) it will help you metabolism, as you have already noticed.
My rule above was more for the way i used to eat - large bowl of cereal, big tesco sandwich then large sausage supper and chicken pakora and still snacks. (at least 2500-3000 a day cals) So thus how i learned if im having the take away to have the cereal and toast (300 total) and so have 900-1000 cals left
As i said just enjoy yourself, eat well for the following days and as you know you'll see no negative problems after a few days. Hope you have a nice time

thanks hun. Will let you know how I get on. Will just have to remember to take it easy and give my body time to register it is full. That way if i take a break, I may feel as though I dont need to eat much anyways and will drink lots of water to keep me full. Even if I will be peeing for britain but at least then I get to miss most of the eurovision hehe

lol, not just good for keeping off weight and making you full, the extra fluid will help your skin. I usually have only a few mouthfulls a day, but since my diet started 6-7 weeks ago i have noticed that i have been drinking at least a litre a day and the skin on my face feels alot better, it no longer is so flaky and dry.But i do agree you pee like a racehorse afterwards.Couldn't have told you the eurovision was on anytime recently, only thing thats on here, is scooby doo or films lol

Im out im afraid, i lost 6 lb total but will no doubt put that back on in the next couple of months! atleast i got rid of some so i wont have much to lose after the birth. good luck to everyone else!! you can do it!! x

well being good so far except for a muffin that was force fed as a girl in work baked them esp for me after she heard I like lemon and poppyseed from starbucks hehe. Couldnt not really but been good for rest of the day. Going ok so far. Lost 2lbs in 2 days. On day three now.

Hey I have joined in on the other thread, started dieting today mostly cutting out carbs n upping my protien intake. So far today I have drunk 6 pints of water n I have done nothing but pee!!!! Since I have been home from work I have also done 50 mins of zumba. Trouble is this week I'm eating late as h2b is working lates... Will see how it goes

ive just found out that h2b isnt bothering when at work. I spotted the ham in the fridge and asked him what he had been doing for butties. He said hes been having saussage rolls hmpf lol. And ive been eating cereal for my dinner. Not amused. I have parents evening tomo so when I get in I bet I am going to be able to sniff out chip shop wrappers.

lol, my other half is as bad IT has only been the past week he has tried, as i have lost 9lb and its got him down that he has only lost 3lbs. Trouble is no matter how hard we try we cant make them lose weight - they need the will power
