Ive just had the idea of doing thank you scrolls for all guests. But using a poem/thank you message for parents and a different poem/message for guests.
    Is anyone else doing this?
I think i am going to attempt to make them myself as some site ive found are well confusing or to expensive for what i want.

    It's a great idea!
I got some scrolls saying thank you for coming to our day sharing it with us (something along those lines) off ebay.

Very great reasonable price and with ribbon included (colour of your choice) to tie them with. You can choose the cholour of the paper in which you would like them printed on either white or ivory.

10 scrolls for £0.99 with £0.61 post and packaging.. the seller did combine alot of the postage for me.
They were personalised on the bottom with our names and date of our wedding!

It probably works out quite expensive if you have loads of people coming but I'm only having 21 guests so it's great for us :)
    I love them!

    one i love is -

Today is the day, I am finally the Bride, I look at you to see, my dad gleaming with pride, but first there are a few things that I would like to say. I love you more and more with every passing day. I remember as a little girl I felt comfort in your arms and hoping that someday I would find a man with your charms. I found that man dad that I do love so but please know this dad my love for you will never go. I am the bride today but in my eyes you’ll see that some things will never change, Daddy’s little girl I’ll always be..

Aww there a really lovely personal idea.
I've just chosen the same poem for everybody to go with their favour bags..
    The poem is..:

    To Our Guest
This day for us is special
    A time beyond compare
The joy we share deep in our hearts
We’re glad our guests can share
    Your presence here with us
Means more than words can say
    Please accept this small memento
To remind you of our day
    Love
    Matthew and Michelle
    12th November 2010

    I love them :)

If you decide to make your own scrolls I learnt a neat trick at high school
***DISCLAIMER*** if your house burns down it isn't my fault lol

    What you'll need;
Sheet of standard A4/A5 white paper
    Bowl of cold tea
    Washing line
    Grill (as in oven grill)

Take paper, soak in tea for a few seconds, remove and peg to washing line to dry. When dry put under grill for a few seconds on either side until edges begin to burn. AT THIS POINT GET THE PAPER OUT FROM THE GRILL!!!!!! (lol)

You'll probably find that you'll have to use a calligraphy pen to write on them.
    Faffy but looks great!

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

    For our guests im using:

Thank you for sharing our special day,
for your love and support along the way,
a new life together we now start,
and you have played a special part.

You helped to bring out dreams to life,
watched as we became husband and wife,
so we give our thanks and wishes too,
and all our love from us, to you.
    Love David and Kerry

We were thinking of doing scrolls for our favours, but wrapping them around a lottery ticket, then they can double up as name place settings too!!!
