    Hi ladies, ok so had a meeting with the vicar today. We are having 2 readings in our ceremony, one has to be from the testament, and one can be a poem or song lyrics etc, he told us to go on the church website and look at the religious readings, none of them are standing out to me, does anyone know anything nice and special which they've heard at other church weddings? X

    I had a quick look online and this seemed nicer than most and a bit less religious than some!

    Song of Solomon 8 v 6,7

    A popular one is in 1 Corinthians, I think verse 13. It's the one that starts love is patient, love is kind etc.

    We had this one - I was the same as you and none of them stood out to me. I asked my mums opinion and she found this one online. I had read it before, but I hadn't really taken in the words. When i took the time to read it properly i realised it was lovely and I think it reads like a poem x

    Reading - Philippians 4:4-9
