    Hi all,
So I brought my wedding dress about 2 years ago and since then gained some weight, I have lost some of the weight but I'm terrified about fitting into my wedding dress. I was just wondering if anybody knows about how much dresses can be altered out, I would probably only needmaybe 2 inches? It's a Mori Lee button up if that makes a difference

I would say try it on asap if possible! the sooner you know, the better. That way you have more time to sort it out. x

Try it asap and look for somewhere that do alterations so they can evaluate the situation of how much the dress can be altered :)

Generally they cannot be let out much at all certainly not 2"
    Try the dress on ASAP.

If it is too small, you need to see a seamstress ASAP as they may be able to put a corset back in it or suggest a way of making it fit but it will take time.

Agree with the ladies above. There's no point putting it off as if you need major work doing or an alternative (hopefully it won't come to that) you will need to give as much notice as possible.
You still have 7 weeks so there is a lot that can be achieved in that time frame plus there is always suck-you-in knickers!

I would go for a corset back, you can have that out in afterwards. If you don't want that I would speak to the bridal shop you got your dress from. They usually have seamstresses associated with them or will know where to direct you and your can see if something else can be done.

When I got married previously I had my dress altered as I hadn't lost as much weight as I though I would. A panel of the same fabric was put into the dress, vertically under each arm so that I couldn't be seen. It was a ball gown style so the bottom of the dress wasn't a problem.

You still have plenty of time to loose a little weight. I would 1 try it on asap to see what needs to be done. Then get into a seamstress to see what can be done.

i would try it on asap, if it's too small i think maybe a lace up back is the way to go but i'm not a seamstress so im not sure what realistically they can do. Good luck
