It looks lovely but i haven't been on many holidays so i'm not very good at this lol. Could anyone recommend a nice place to stay in Tenerife? Or even Gran Canaria or Lanzarote? :)

We went to Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote and couldn't fault it. We stayed close to the old town with a few bars, restaurants, beaches and the harbour with loads of seafront restaurants - but a short distance away it was the livelier new town with more night life and gorgeous beaches (stretching about 7 miles). The transfer from the airport was only about 20 minutes as well.

Sounds good mym :) We really want to be as close to the beach as possible and close to some bars and restuarants so we can go out sometimes, so these islands sound perfect

We went to Gran Canaria in July (for my birthday) & it was absolutely scorching .. was lush!! A guy over there said a couple of weeks before we went, it was about 45 nearly every day, that would of been too hot for me! xx

I've been three times. Los Gigantes, just outside Playa de las Americas and Costa Silencio.
Out of the three I liked Los Gigantes the best...
Last time I went was in March last year and it was 82 degrees!!!.
