    Hi Girls!

I wonder if any of you could help me - i'm really keen to have teal (the bluey aqua marine colour) as my theme but im struggling to find decently priced bridemaid dresses and accessories for the reception room
i'm on a tight budget and I dont really want to pay the designer prices for the BM's dresses

we already have ivory and white flowers which i think will go nicely but I dont know what to do to include the colour apart from that :(

    any suggestions very welcome!! xx

I have gone for a teal and silver theme to my wedding, best suggestion I can make is have a look on ebay for accessories - tealights for inside fish bowls etc.

There's blue lights that can be put inside glasses etc, you'll also find napkins, confetti etc - especially if you're budget's tight

I have teal BM dresses (alfred angelo) because it was the only place I could get the perfect shade of teal! (some are very green and some are very blue). I am doing all my stationary white and silver, I am having white flowers and the only other things that will be teal is the grooms tie and hanky and the best man and ushers buttonholes will have teal ribbon around them ohh nearly forgot, I have white favour boxes that will have teal ribbon on them. Teal is a really difficult colour to match, I got really stressed out with it and considered having a different colour. Thats when I decided to do everthing white and silver except bm dresses and the few other bits I mentioned. That famous auction site quite often have bm dresses on in teal.

Im having a shade of teal/aqua/tiffany blue whichever you want to call it lol with silver. I'm having my bridesmaids dresses made by my MIL2B. As for table dec's I have brought some nice napkins in the right colour. Am collecting glass jars for vases which i will cover with a sheet of tissuse paper and sercure with a ribbon bow. I have tea light holders in black (cant complain they were 25p each), now I'm just thinking shall I have balloons? xx

BHS have a teal bridesmaid dress this year but it's not the nicest of dresses. Whats your budget for them? Alfred Angelo's are lovely but around £140-£150 each xx

I wanted Teal-but every bm dress that was in my budget was more blue-teal and I wanted green-teal! So I ended up compromising and it is now a jade(ish) green-although the dresses are actually described as turquoise!! So many shades-so much confusion! lol x

littlegerald could you post the link on my page too please - thanks! billybob i'm having the same colour BM dresses as you - found the teal ribbon from ribbon oasis an almost perfect match. We're co-ordinating teal with white and silver. Saw in the shoe shop Office in their sale they've got purple flat ballet pump style shoes with a purple feather on the toe for £35 also got a turquoisey-teal version with a peacock feather style design. Hope this helps x x

H & M have some beautiful peacock feather dresses in teal and blue - I was eyeing one up only this lunchtime! Would make a beautiful bm dress as it's a satiny material...

This was our colour scheme, until we had to ditch the teal, due to the exact same problems. We went for champagne blue in the end as the teal balloons we wanted were a devil's own job to get hold of.

I can not believe hw hard it is for TEAL, my coloue scheme as well why does there have to be so many different shades of one colour lol.

I like the idea if gems on stuff may have to pinch that one x
Ebay seems to have lots of but again does depend on the shade of it ur after x
The other option one dress shop gave me was if i find a dress i like in white or creamfor my BM u can sometimes get them dyed!?!
