So I picked my dress at the weekend and the back is lower than I thought. I was already booked in to get this tattoo done and with most dresses not a lot would be on show on the day. My moh thinks I should wait till after the wedding to get it but my other bm thinks its delicate and girly enough to get now and have on show, I'm only getting the tree not the writing. Opinions?

I'd say go for it as it is really pretty but it just depends on you and if you want it to show in photos or not.

Oh I don't mind at all, it will be a part of me I was just wondering what your opinion and therefore potentially guests opinions would be
If its booked I'd still go for it after all all tattoos are unique to the personx

Ive got tats on my shoulder and the top of my arms which will be on show hun if your not fussed about it being in pics I would say go for it x

I've seen someone with that tattoo but in middle of some of flowers they had like crystal piercing/implants v small but they caught light and it looked gorgeous!

Very pretty! I have a fair few tatts but a pet hate of mine is seeing a beautiful bride and then tattoos on display, for me it ruins the effect.... I've always wanted one on the back of my neck and down my spine, I always said I will not get it until after the wedding That's just my opinion x

Personally I don't like on show tattoos on women so I agree with you moh.. Not that I don't think it's pretty cause it is :-) and as long as YOU'RE happy for it to be on show then you do it, it's YOUR body, YOUR wedding :-) xxx

I think it's a lovely pretty tattoo. I on the other hand have a very naff one that was done about 12 years ago i will be covering mine up ,i went to a wedding last year and the bride looked gorgeous until she walked down the isle and you could see a variety of badly done tattoo's. I think if you've given it a lot of thought and you have a good tattooist then go for it.

He's a great tattooist so am confident it will look as pretty and delicate as the pic. He covered up an old ugly Chinese symbol on my ankle 2 weeks ago, drew it freehand from a photograph on his iPad:

i think if you want a tattoo you should get it. does it really matter if it is on show or not? its apart of you! i have a swallow on my shoulder ( a tattoo i got when i was 19 ) and it was on show. i have a huge tat on my back with butterflies and flowers and i wanted to have it on show but where my dress sat it was hidden underneath it which was fine. the tattoo on my foot i had on show all the time as i love it so much! i took every opportunity to show it off (along with my fab shoes)
tattoo's are apart of you , why hide them for your wedding day? you will have the photographs to look at the rest of you life and you will have the tattoo's for the rest of your life as well!

I think If you get a tattoo you should get one that you Love and will never want to cover it up and have no problem it being on show on your big day My tattoo will be and it will be make a great asset to my bridal look on my big day =D
