its up to you what you feel comfortable with but there's always heavy duty make up (normally used for scars etc) that could cover them if you feel uncomfortable baring them x

Babe you're going to look like a princess in your dress....tattoos or not...as already said there are cover-ups available...no one will say you look like trailer trash babe...you will be a princess for the entire day xx

i specifically had my dress made low at the back to show off my tattoo,i had all 3 on show,the biggest of whick is between my shoulder blades which was incorpurated in to our wedding invite designes.its not tacky at all.each one symbolises something,a part of my life a memory ,,people commented on my wedding day how beautifull it looked,,i wouldnt of had it any other way

it doesnt make a difference wat anyone else thinks chic i have them and r proud of them like you are u will look lovely in your dress like the other ladies said u do wat u feel right for urself but u certainly wont look like trailer trash at al chic xx

I wouldnt cover them up they are to your kids and mum and dad, i have one on my arm i had done at 16 i will cover that probs, bottom of my back you cant see and shoulder... well thats ok!

Kat Von D made a tattoo concelear she had all hers covered up with it on a photo shoot she did to promote it, and she is covered in them, couldnt tell she had them, on telly at least!

i have my star sign on one wrist and on the other i have a cross both not tiny, i should be having extra added to the cross to make it more girley but ill be shoing mine. if anything covers them it will be my boquet but that will only be while im going down the isle

Just because you have tattoos does not mean you are trailer trash. Its an expression of who you are - and if uneducated bigots think any less of you for having them then they aint worth bothering about.

The only tattoos i have that will be visible will be the 2 doves on my shoulder,a pink cross on the back of my neck & the ones on my wrist, no doubt my mother will try & convince me to cover them up but as goff said why have them if your going to cover them up xxx

I got my wedding dress without thinking about my tattoos but then I thought about it the other day and realised that my dress shows off all 6 of my tattoos anyway which I am really chuffed about!!!! lol. No stole, shawl, bolero, cape or heavy duty make up for me!!!! lol. x

If the tattoos are meaningful to you and tell a story of your life then show them off with pride. It's sad to think that in this day and age people can still be so narrow minded about us girlies that have them *grrrrr*

When I was dress shopping I tried a beautiful slinky type dress on that had a low scooped back, it cut my tat in half (got my daughter's name in a pair on angel wings on my lower back) IF I had decided that was the dress for me then I wolud have covered mine, not because I was worried about what anyone thought, but because the dress wrecked the tat itself.
I do have to say though - my step-brother (step dad's son) got married and his now estranged wife has Mickey Mouse tattooed on her right b o o b and she was wearing a corset dress. You couldn't focus on the pictures themselves because you got transfixed on Mickey's ears and nose popping out of the top of her dress, was quite something to behold :S

I'm jealous now! My tattoo is on the bottom of my back so it wont be on show unless I cut a hole in my dress!

I have a large chinese dragon which goes around my belly button and down towards my groin. I had it there and not going over my shoulder as originally planned, so that I can go to sophisticated do's and wear nice dresses without it being on show. My dad has tattoo's so I know how they can look when they get old and didn't want to be an old bird with ink on show. Depending on the tattoo, it's quality and subject, sometimes (imo) they can look a bit tacky but, if it's your tattoo, you'll know whether it looks nice or not and whether you want everyone to see it and it be in the photo's.

i've got a large rose on my shoulder and a tribal design on the inside of my left wrist and no-one noticed i even wore a crystal cuff on my left wrist cos i was that worried but it was still visible to me the thing is i love my tatts and there is a story behind every single one so i didn't really care what other people thought to start off with but honestly in my opinion wedding day people think wedding dress that's what they'll be looking at not your tatts :-)

6 of my tattoos show in my dress-they are part of me and if people don't like them-don't fricken look at them! lol x

i am showing one of my five tats on the day. ive got one on the back of neck, the rest are in places i couldnt show them without being almost naked! lol x

ill be showin one of mine cos my dress is strapless, lots of people have them, i dont think it matters if they are on show or not :) xxx

I love tattoos and have quite a few. I def won't be covering mine up, in fact I will be making sure everyone can see them loud and proud lol! x x x

I have three large stars tattoed on my neck and large stars and my sons name on my wrist, I actually want to show them because it shows your personality and makes you unique!!!!
If you dont like them then cover them up but if your loud and proud then let them shine!!!!!
