That is a gorgeous tat! My friend had a tat round her belly button and said it was really hard to keep still (people still have to breathe lol) and bear in mind the time of year you have it done if you have it in that area (think waistbands rubbing on it when its healing)

I had my lower back done years ago in january, took longer than it should have done to heal because of my jeans lol

plus i dont think it would be good there as i have deep stretch marks across by tummy area from when i was preg an their quite deep, so where else could i put it (have one on my lower back already) x

ooh ok so for that particular design where would you suggest is good, shoulder, thigh etc? x

that one is entirely up to you lol, I wouldnt want to decide that for you, I always spend a long long time thinking about any of my tats lol

Hmm what about at the top of my back just slightly under my neck? its similar design to my lower back tatt so it might look ok? my lower back tatt is tribal swirls with a rose in the centre so pretty similar? x

perhaps (n may sound a bit daft) you could print the design and put it on diff parts of your body with help round the back, take pics n see where you liek it best.

Don't forget to cut round the design when you print it off tho so you dont have a giant piece of A4 paper on you lol xxx

i have a tattoo at the bottom of my neck and it wasnt painful, but then again none of mine have really hurt. i had 3 of mine redone and had them all done one after the other and wasnt in pain xx

Nice tat.....but my advice would be.... NEVER EVER get anyones name tattooed on your body unless its your parents or your kids.

I've covered up more names on folk than i've had hot dinners, and each and everyone thought it would last forever.....some had even been married years!

If you REALLY want something that reminds you of them....get something else that is not a name.

i'd love to have a tatt but my pain tolerance is zero, i cried when i had my ears pierced!
around the belly isnt really a great place for tatt's, esp if you are prone to weight gain/loss. Someone i knew had a horse on her belly and after putting on some weight it stretched and looked more like a cow!

Hehe - I'm with you mrsbarkertobe - and piercings are sooo much harder to heal!
