I love every single one of my tattoos, but I do have a fair few on my arms and would like to cover at least some of them up for my big day.
I have looked into the tattoo/camouflage make-up, but I don't know if it actually WORKS. Is it as easy to use at it looks? Does it REALLY cover as well as it says?
If anyone has had any experience with this I'd be very appreciative of a reply :)

    Thanks,
    Amy

    Hi hun,
I wouldnt know about covering them up or anything, infact I'm the oposite and plan on getting more before my big day!!! however g00gle the reviews and also watch the tube vids and see what it looks like they should have the brands on there too... If you look at some one actually using the product rather than the company trying to sell the product i that makes sense? good luck hunny xx

when my sister got married she tried it to cover hers on her arms an it didnt really work she paid alot for it and it didnt blend into her skin an you could still see her tattoos through it and ended up buying a wrap to go round her arms

i have used camo make up, it has worked for me... if you buy some and then ask your make up artist to apply for you (if your having one) it will save alot of time and money cos it takes alot of practice to get the tones and the application perfect..

I'm not covering mine up but I only have one on my back and on my inner wrists. I'm actually going on Saturday to have the one on my back redone as the black has faded a bit. I'm also having my h2b's name added to my inner wrist. I know a lot of people think getting each others names tattoo'd is bad but I have a Cross on my inner wrist so if for any reason in the future Chris and I decided to split up then I will just have a T added to the end on Chris lol He had my name done 3 weeks ago on his inner arm and its huge so looks like we will be together forever, that's just how I want it though.

Kev's tattoo of my name, there's no way he will be covering that up! the camo make up is ok for covering tats, but as soon as you get a bit warm (or even sweaty?) it wears off really fast :( Kev tried to cover his up for this competition, but ended up just using the fake tan instead, which you could still see them all, but took the emphasis off the ink and onto the muscles instead.
I would be a but wary of using these products, as samwiseheart said, she had a reaction, they can stain your skin, and dress!, or they could at best, just not work.....best thing is to do some research and then test yourself with plenty of time to spare before the big day xxxx i will ask Kev if he knows of any sucessful tat make up xx failing that, what about asking your tattooist , he must get asked that all the time?
