just seen on wedding sos they got their rings tatooed on... i really dont think I could do that.... i know you want to stay with hubby etc but what if something happens beyond your control and you do split.... its so permanant. Would anyone else consider this?

myself and my H2B are getting matching tattoos before the wedding (although mine will be on my ribs and his at the top of his back) saying 'always and forever' in latin - but we have agreed on this as 1) its our saying to one another and 2) it could mean anything eg. always and forever.....i will be addicted to chocolate lmao, but i dnt think i could get my ring tattooed on.

we wouldnt do it. h2b doesnt like tattoos and would never have one. i have 4 but i can cover them all up. i dont think i would like a tattoo that was always on show to be honest.
i know a couple called kate and dave (short names) who got engaged and had each others named tattooed on the finger as their engagment rings! it really looked awful and then they split up! so now they are stuck with their ex name on their wedding finger! xx

H2B and I got tattoos together ages ago ... they don't match. As much as I love tattoos I couldn't stand the pain so close to a bone!

I asked my H2B what he thought about me having ollie tattooed on the inside of my wedding ring finger so you could only see it when i had my palms up and no rings on. But he said no!
I do want to do somthing though!

this is a design I did to go on my leg (Just above my ankle on the side of my calf.
It is a welsh love spoon that has a Heart, Daffodils, The letter 'O' for ollie and the infinity sign.
I want it in colour.
I was going to get it done in Feb and had it booked but decided to wait until after the wedding as it will be quite big!!

We had a customer whose H2B was given a choice - wear a ring or have 'Married' tatooed around your finger. He chose to have a ring and then asked us to engrave the inside with "Property of Mrs Smith" without letting her know. Apparently Mrs Smith loved it! ;o)

Strangly enough I just asked H2B if he fancied them on Sunday he's not keen and I think I'm glad because my fingre is all out of shape after wearing my slightly tight engagement ring through pregnancy but I think it's cool. I have his child having his tattoo is a much smaller commitment than that.
I do however work with a girl who (by the time she was 20) had three diferent lad's names tattooed on her body she also had three kids to three men but only one of the names was a tattoo.

I am not sure I would have a ring tattooed, instead of a real one, just because I think it does not look as good, but having something tattooed about your loved one (apart from his name) is something I'd do, will have to talk to him about matching ones.

I have two tattoos and love them but I personally wouldn't want to have a ring tattooed - I do want another tattoo after the wedng, just not sure what yet.
h2b likes my tattoos, and he's talked about getting one of his own - if he got one, I'd love to go with so we could have them done together

Every person i no who had there partners/husbands names tattooed anywhere it never lasted so i dont think i would unkess it just a ring shape coz that could mean anything but it would hurt lol xxx
