well me and h2b have decided that Gingy will not be wearing a kilt to the wedding!!! for a few different reasons :

    1. he will be just nearing on 3 and is still at the stage of taking tantrums.
    2. they are very itchy , and hot , and we do not think he will wear it, let alone like wearing it all day and get hot.
    3. my mum is a professional wedding photographer and has seen many a wedding where the wee boys are gettin messed up and hiking up the kilts every 5 mins and we dont wnt the pressure really to be running around pulling it up.

so we have decided on either a wee suit with a thistle buttonhole and bow tie..or tartan trousers , white shirt and a tartan waistcoat!! but we need to no

where can we hire, if at all, young boys suits?? or tartan trousers? x

might actually be more cost effective to buy the material and have trousers and matching waistcoat made for him

I definitely know there isnt anywhere local Bridebecca that does hiring of childrens tartain trousers, etc, the usual places only do wee boys kilt packages and even then the sizing can be difficult to get.

But had a wee look online and have found a place you can buy from in Scotland, that do tartan trousers, tartan waistcoats and actually a whole outfit for kids ages 12 months to 6 years. Not sure what you had budgeted for hire price but for buying it it is much cheaper than the kilt hire package they offer for kids. Have added the links onto your wall now.

Also if you did go down the route of getting a tartan waistcoat and trousers made, get in touch and I can find out where the best place locally would be to buy the tartan material. xx
