well girls, see what you think? best man has known for a year that this month we would be sorting the suits out.we organise today to meet up at the shop at noon..he arrives,we sort the suits out and when we go to pay guess what, he has no money to pay for his.We have to pay!! I have already bought shirt, waist coat and cravat for him.Tonight HSB's brother has informed us that best man is planning to buy Rhianna tickets!!!! X

Oh dear! get h2b to ask him what's going on? explain that the wedding is already causing a strain on your pockets so having to buy his suit unexpectantly has really worsened the blow of how expensive this one day is becoming and that you want him to be best man but you dont want to be out of pocket xxx

He is H2b younger brother, he said last year he would pay me back for the waitscoat etc and im still waiting. He told H2b that he had enough money for his suit hire yesterday so i really dont think im getting any of it back now and i DONT want him as best man now, but H2b doesnt want to upset him as its family. I know i should just face the fact i will never get the money back, but i am so annoyed. x

h2b doesnt have any firends that he felt he wanted to ask, so he thought it would be nice to ask his younger brother..in answer to you Hunny bunny, i very much doubt it will be returned ever, he unfortunately has never worked (hes 28yrs old) just plays at being a magician and claims the dole x x

Dont worry gregorys girl, i am not going to take this easily. I will let all my friends and family know what a leech he is before the wedding. They hate scroungers!! I will make sure H2B alters his speech to not include "thanks" to best man bit and i will avoid him at wedding. He will NOT be in any pics as i will just be annoyed when i look at him!!x

Sweetheart, do yourself a favour, get everything you've bought back off him and take it back to the shops for a refund/exchange for something for your hubby. The lad's priorities are screwed and at 28 he should get off his lazy ar5e and get a job so he CAN afford to stand at his brother's side on his wedding day. Unfortunately I think this one is down to the h2b to sort as it is his best man and his brother. I would get him to go and kick him up the backside and let him know just how much this has upset you both. It will have more impact coming from him.

I have had a row with H2b tonight abouth this, he feels that its his choice who he asks to be best man, which yes i agree with, but isn't it supposed to be an honour to be asked in the first place? Sorry, misread it as it was you h2bs brother who was best man. Ok, so it's your h2bs choice to have him as best man. Now because I'm an uber b!tch when it comes to things like this (and I did something similar to Ross the other week) if this money has come out of your pocket then present h2b with the receipts and tell him if he's so desperate to have this numpty as best man then he can pay you back each and every last penny it's cost you. If it's you h2bs money that's paid for it then let him be a fool unto himself, one day he'll see him for the scrounging git he is (she says hopefully)

Thanks Kerrylou, I have told H2B that if my money(whats his is mine etc lol) is not repaid in full and in cash by Easter(she says with teeth grinding)then I WILL CANCEL his suit at the shop. I think giving 3mths to repay is more than fair and i am nobodys mug.We all of us on here, work damn hard at our jobs and have a recession to cope with as well.. and exhale!!
