We're making our own table plan as the cheapest I've found for a printed one is £45 and I don't really want to pay that...does anyone have any ideas of where to get a decent table plan board or kit that we can make up ourselves?
Any recommendations will be grateful

the only thing i can think of (im gona try making mine too) is to go to an art shop or something maybe like range or somewhere like that and get a piece of thick card or something and then just print people out once we've sorted out who sits where but for the whole sorting out just write em out and have a place for table one, two and so on. dont know if that helps. no idea about a kit or anything so if you find one let us know xx :D

me too really but i just resent having to pay loads for what is essentially a bit of carrd with names printed on lol xxx plus this way you can design it however you want! Have fun with it and if you get stuck at least you havent wasted loads of money xx

i gave it a try ages ago it just a small bit of card but there a pic in my album if you want a nosey it not brill or anything but it just the messing around seating people that takes ages and youd have that anyway lol xxx

there is a table planner thingy on here too which can help with the seating lol but it can sometimes be tempramental xx

Hi, I bought an artist canvas for a few pounds and then some coloured card to make table shapes etc and then printed out names onto colour-coordinated card, few bits of decoration to match our theme and done! Note of caution though... I made our first one a month before the wedding and the guest list has changed quite a bit so now not making up another final version until the day before! So best to do a 'mock up' and save the real thing for just before the day. Also if you dont stick the names down until the last minute you can move people around! xx ps. pics of my first one are on my profile, 2nd version looks pretty much identical just names changed/removed.
